It wouldn't matter anyway. The women's division in AEW is booked like trash and they get limited time on Dynamite. No woman is moving the needle regardless of who it is.
This would be the time Tony should be getting his shit together and tightening shit up. He like kid with all the right tools but doesn't know how to use them.
If released I can definitely see him making his way to AEW. Kenny would push hard for TK to sign him. Ibushi is a great talent.
It was very good. Although Hangman's feuds in his title reign haven't been great all his matches have been bangers. From a match quality perspective he's had the best reign of any AEW Champion thus far.
I don't think TK would have to be pushed. It's a no brainer.
I actually think Punk beats Hangman then MJF takes it off of Punk. If Hangman beats Punk then you're right the reverse will happen where MJF beats Hangman then Punk takes it off of MJF. One thing is for certain either Punk or MJF will be the next champion. After MJF and Punk have had their reigns then you can start looking to people like Miro, Danielson, and Keith Lee.

MJF is working people. One of the few wrestlers today that always stays in character.
She's about that life. She probably pulls in 80 grand a month from her site.
No tournament needed. Just get rid of the titles. As far as Sasha and Naomi are concerned they'll probably be sitting at home for the rest of their contract.

I don't think it's a work because how they're handling the Sasha/Naomi walkout almost mirrors how they handled it when Stone Cold legit walked out in 2002.
The issue is Sasha didn't want her and Naomi, who are champions, to be used as fodder for the singles champions. They wanted a program with Nikki and Doudrop.
Austin's issue was, with him being the biggest draw in the company, he didn't want to be the first one used to put over rookie Brock Lesnar, and also lose to Scott Hall who had just returned with the NWO.
When Austin didn't show up, Vince had JR (Austin's friend) bury him on commentary, Vince cut a promo to control the narrative, then had the Rock return early to bury him to be petty.
Now they're having Corey Graves and Michael Cole (who I heard is real cool with Sasha and Naomi) burying them on commentary, they're releasing statements to the media to control the narrative, and now in the name of pettiness, instead of using the out to get rid of the tag championships they don't have the teams nor the plans for, they're gonna throw together a tag tourney because they suddenly have an interest putting them on somebody else.
Two situations almost exactly 20 years apart and the MF is handling the shit the exact same way.
