Started season 2 of The Wilds on Amazon and it's very amusing. Hats off to the writers and the banter they come up with for the characters

Gonna start the new season soon, JB.

Have 1 episode to go for both Winning Time and Ozark and gonna wrap those ones up soon.

Still at the midway point of season 4 of Goliath. Haven't watched any eps for a number of weeks.

Gonna check out the most recent episodes of Better Call Saul & Barry tomorrow.

Thinking about starting Flight Attendant s2, The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey & Billy the Kid shortly.

Hacks s2 also starts this week.

Tehran on Apple T.V. was really, really, good. It's an espionage show about Israel trying to bomb Iran's nuclear reactor. It centers on a female Mossad agent tasked with entering Iran and hacking Iran's air defense computer systems so that Israeli planes can bomb the reactor.

It's a psychological thriller with lots of twists. And I know it's fiction, but it provided a really unique view of what everyday life inside Iran probably looks like. Only season 1 is out: it has eight 50 minute episodes. I binged it in two days. Season 2 comes out in May. Like I said, it's really good. It's a must watch if you're into foreign spy dramas. I'd give it an 8.5 out of 10.

Friendly reminder for those that enjoyed the 1st season - there's a new season out. My mom noted she plans on starting s2 soon.

Yellowjackets

new Showtime series ...looks promising ...

I watched Yellowjackets during Showtimes free preview earlier this month.

Good series. It’s been renewed for a 2nd season.

How it led into the finale was interesting.

We need a dedicated discussion thread for this show.

Bad Blood

only 2 seasons ...

Bad Blood is a story of family, loyalty, deceit, power, greed, and ultimately revenge. Montreal Mafia boss Vito Rizzuto is a criminal anomaly. Determined to bring peace to the disparate wings of the Montreal crime world of the day, Rizzuto successfully unifies them, serving as a de facto CEO while ensuring a lucrative payday for all. When Rizzuto is suddenly arrested and extradited to Colorado’s Supermax Prison for the 1981 murders of three Bonanno crime family members, the powerful empire he built begins to crumble. Rizzuto watches helplessly until his release from prison in October 2012, when a Shakespearean tale of revenge begins to unfold.

Finished Ozark and Winning Time yesterday.

Enjoyed the tension on Ozark, though the final scene should have been stronger.

Winning Time was a good watch all season. Glad to have got caught up in recent weeks after falling behind about 3-4 eps for awhile.

That last 10 minutes of Better Call Saul was great.

Barry’s been consistent too. Just needs longer episodes, as this most recent ep was only about 25 mins. Wouldn’t mind if the show ran closer to 40 - 45 mins.

Strange New Worlds is pretty good actually better than Picard. My coworker told me about the ending of Picard and i laughed.
But Strange New Worlds brought back a character twist i had either forgotten from the original 60's series or i never
saw the episode in which it took place.

I need to start the new Elizabeth Moss Apple Series Shining Girls that people are raving about.

Candy

Candy Montgomery is a 1980 housewife and mother who did everything right—good husband, two kids, nice house, even the careful planning and execution of transgressions—but when the pressure of conformity builds within her, her actions scream for just a bit of freedom. Until someone tells her to shush. With deadly results.

Signora Volpe

To the casual observer, there’s nothing remarkable about Sylvia. An intelligent, confident woman, Sylvia tends to keep quiet about her formidable linguistic abilities, impressive knowledge of weaponry, and skills as a markswoman. Questions about her professional life are met with bland answers about an unspectacular career in the Civil Service. Which is only very slightly true – because until recently, Sylvia was a high-ranking British spy.

Dont sleep on the British shows ...

Di Ray

Birmingham-based police officer DI Rachita Ray takes on a case that forces her to face a lifelong personal conflict.

I really wonder why British series r so short ...?

u seldomly see a British tv series more than 4 episodes ....weird...lol

anyway the lead chick in this is a good actress ..might give it a shot ...the Brits n their low key racism ...

Saw the trailer couple months ago.

Looks interesting.

Also, my future ex-wife Melanie Lynsky co-stars, so I gotta watch it.

Plan on subscribing to Paramount+ for two months, binge on recent shows then cancel.

That will be my plan with them going forward.

Surprised they didnt use a slowed-down"scary" version of this in the previews:lol:

Shining Girls on Apple TV is definitely a slow burn but they add a couple of layers that keeps things interesting

Tehran on Apple TV is a very involving series. One of the things I find very interesting about it are the customs of the show that is set in Iran. It made me think one would really have to study what's not offensive when visiting because it may cost you your life.

Watched episode one of The Time Traveler's Wife. It was pretty good, it is basically the same story as the movie that came out years ago but as a tv series. I hope they go into how he is able to time travel and not just focus on the love story.

Looking forward to checking out this series in June. Big fan of the lead's work in years past on Fargo, Reservation Dogs, etc. Happened across this trailer by chance the other day.

Dark Winds is an upcoming American psychological thriller television series created by Graham Roland based on the Leaphorn & Chee book series by Tony Hillerman. The first season will consist of six episodes, and is set to premiere on AMC and AMC+ on June 12, 2022.[1]
