2 killed, several more injured in shooting at Airbnb party on Pittsburgh's North Side
This story was updated at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 17.

Two people were killed and several more were injured in a shooting at a home in Pittsburgh’s East Allegheny neighborhood early Sunday in what the mayor called a “senseless loss of life.”
Up to 200 people — many of them underage — were attending a large party at an Airbnb rental property near the intersection of Suismon Street and Madison Avenue on the North Side when dozens of shots rang out around 12:30 a.m., officials said.
Police Chief Scott Schubert said during a news conference at police headquarters Sunday that an altercation had occurred, and shortly after, “gunshots were exchanged.” The two who were killed were under 18, he said. Eight others were shot, and five more suffered injuries from jumping out of windows, falling down steps or seeking cover.
Chief Schubert said no arrests had been made, and he asked the public to come forward with any information that could help the investigation.
There were no suspects as of Sunday afternoon, and police did not indicate a possible motive.
"We're not going to sleep until we get who did this,” the chief said. “This shouldn’t have happened. We're sick about it. We're going to do everything we can to get those responsible for it."
Chief Schubert said officials believe there were multiple shooters. Shell casings from around the area indicated there were multiple firearms used during the melee, he said.
He said it was a “very chaotic scene” when officers arrived after ShotSpotter reported more than 90 rounds of gunfire. Public safety officials initially reported as many as 50 rounds were fired.
He said authorities are still investigating who rented the Airbnb.
Some gunshot victims were transported to hospitals by Pittsburgh EMS and police, and others arrived at hospitals within and outside city limits via private transportation, officials said.
Stephanie Waite, a spokeswoman for Allegheny Health Network, said the system treated seven patients from the incident at Allegheny General Hospital on the North Side and one at Jefferson Hospital in Jefferson Hills. The patients were treated for gunshot wounds and other injuries, but Ms. Waite said the hospital wouldn't provide more details — such as ages, exact injuries or the condition of the patients — citing privacy laws and the ongoing police investigation.
A UPMC spokeswoman said two patients from the incident were being treated at the health care system’s hospitals but wouldn't say where they were treated or what kind of injuries they had.

That’s the fucked up part… they really was vibing but we know how that turns out…

I really like the house party vibing because it less likely to have a problem
House parties were always tricky. Cats who had beef knew in advance where to find folks. At the very least, if there was some tensions, cats plotting before the party like 'if such and such do this, it's on!!" :smh: Most go down without shit, but when shit happens, shit happens.

On another note, just found out about this in MSM(yahoo of all places) under 'Mass Shootings." I noticed lately they been labeling the usual dumb, street violence as 'mass shootings.' If they start that push, look out. Since most the perps going to be STRAIGHT(important distinction these days), black males, they(left leaning media) might now feel comfy going that route. The amount of shit they can get passed if they can successfully change the narrative will be crazy.
