Faizon Love Questions Kountry Wayne's Bag and If What He's Doing Is Real Comedy... Don't Trust OG's

Jesus Christ!!!! Faizon is such a fuckin' idiot!

Dude is so bitter that no one wants to fuck w/ him in Hollywood.

I thought that dude was in the barbershop and that was a smock he had on. That super chubby bastard needs to lose some weight
and that might stop the hate!! ( BARZ )

If he tightened up his skits they'd come off a lot better. It's all about the timing of the joke/skit.
Those skits come off just fine. People are dying to know what happens next and they're funny. He exploits Christians but everybody does.

KW not only has nice skits that generate money, they also got his name out there. I never heard of him before those skits. It's a new
day of entertainment. Faizon is a known hater.

Its a volume thing. Say you have 45 videos and they all have 300k or better, then yeah. Say you have hundreds of vids and they all have at least 35k views or better. That might not be enough to quit a job, but its more than pocket change.
man if you have 100s of vids and theyre making over 35k views each you will definitely quit your job

now imagine KW who has over 500 vids and the lowest view count is about 800k when you combine the two platforms he's using
he's easily making millions

hell your favorite tv show is trying to get a million viewers an episode
and these dudes are doing it easy through social media

I gave that number because I personally know somebody doing numbers like that. Could he quit his job? I guess he could, but he would have to grind Youtube full time and I dont think he wants to do that.

and their views aint shit
but like you said the volume adds up and theyre still being paid from their very 1st videos

Depending on situation you have to think 4-10,000 dollars per million views.. 300,000 is 30 percent of a million.. so what’s 30 percent of $4,000? 1,200… what’s 30 percent of $10,000? 3,000… so think between 1,200-3,000 per 300,000 views.. that’s how you basically break down the math.. depending on subscribers, ads, consistent content, how long video is viewed, and YouTube algorithm is how basically his money will come out to

Faizon is a fat hating ass nigga. He been around for 30 years and his claim to fame was a 2 minute cameo in Friday. Most folk dont even know he does stand up. Ive never ever heard in my life someone say "im going to see Faizon Love tonite"

net worth(just a quick search, I’m sure these numbers are different)

Love - 8 million
Wayne - 2 million
You really believe that shit? lol What has he done to have earned anywhere near that much, hell even $800k..lol As I said before folks keep googling & believe these bullshit sites that just pull numbers out of the air for most of these folks.
What does Faizon do for a living?

If Faizon Love could fathom what Kourtney Wayne is doing he'd want to be a part of it. I mean who the fuck doesn't enjoy situational comedy?
Assist. Salute.

Not sure if y'all know.... but Faizon has over 50+ movie roles on his resume.

And what most people don't know is... the movie "Friday" didn't make very much money at the box office. :smh:

The average movie makes about 60% of its revenue from the box office. But movies can also make a substantial amount of income (over time) via Television rights, VOD & Streaming Platforms.

The movie "Friday" only made $27 million (in total).... with its theatrical release, back in 1995.

The vast majority of people who have seen Friday.... saw it either on DVD... or probably watched it on Cable/HBO... or they watched a BOOTLEG DVD back in the late 1990s, that somebody bought at the local Barbershop or Swap Meet.

So if I had to guess... I think where Faizon probably made the Lion's Share of his net worth was for these 3 projects...

------------------------------------------------------------------------

2009 – COUPLE'S RETREAT

q46sh5.jpg

Fazion plays Shane in the romantic comedy called Couple's Retreat (starring Vince Vaughn).

With a production budget of $70 million... this movie made $171 million in theaters.
It also made another $47 million in DVD sales just in 2010 alone.

Faizon was intentionally deleted from all the movie posters that were used to promote the movie outside of the United States, which prompted him to sue Universal Pictures for discrimination. He eventually settled out of court & dropped the lawsuit in Jan 2021, when his lawyers announced: "Universal Pictures and Faizon Love have reached an amicable agreement".

So, in addition to receiving (ongoing) royalties... he probably also got a nice big (lump sum) settlement check.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

2003 – ELF

afELF214.jpg

Faizon had a nice role as the Gimbel's Manager in the movie Elf (Starring Will Ferrell).

The movie cost only $33 million to make... But it made a staggering $220 million (worldwide) at the box office, just in 2003 alone.
It has also made over $110 million in DVD sales, thru 2021.

So it has generated well over $330 million in Sales - not including all the revenue it's made from being shown on Cable TV, syndication and on airplane trips across the country.

Ever since 2003, this movie still gets ALOT of replays every holiday season, on various (premium) Cable & TV channels.

So those residual checks keep coming.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

2004 – GRAND THEFT AUTO: SAN ANDREAS

xbb523efz.jpg

Faizon was the voice of CJ's older brother (Sean "Sweet" Johnson) in one of Rockstar's BIGGEST HITS..... The GTA: San Andreas video game.

GTA: San Andreas generated $235 million in revenue... IN ITS FIRST WEEK OF SALES, ALONE.

Since 2004, San Andreas has sold more than 27+ million units. (Which is roughly about $1.5 Billion in revenue)

It holds the title of being the highest-selling video game EVER MADE for the PS2 Platform.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

So ummm yeah, personally I think $8 million is about accurate.

And it's pretty safe to say that Faizon has probably made the majority of his income between Elf + Couple's Retreat + and GTA: San Andreas alone. (Not to mention the other 47+ movie roles on his resume.)

Just my opinion. :dunno:

But since you’re bitter, you’re just “That one nigga the movie” to us.

bro that shit doesnt work that way
just because a movie was a hit doesnt mean the smaller supporting actors are eating off it
hell they arent

That's not true at all.

Actually, it just depends.

For actors, every movie depends on what they can negotiate.
Each movie/situation is different.

Some actors want their all money upfront... in the form of a (one-time) flat payment.
Or some want less cash upfront in salary... and try to negotiate for back-end deals, instead.

PBdac-AZsfpzt-Zo-RAF9-X9-Ub.jpg

Take Couple's Retreat for example... It's a movie that only had 4 main (male) actors.

It was a $70 million dollar budget movie with a small ensemble cast... filmed exclusively in one location... and it didn't need a ton of post-production editing, or special EFX eating up the whole budget.

Vince Vaughn was making roughly $18-$20 million dollars per movie at this time, when Couple's Retreat came out back in 2009.

And the other 3 "Supporting Actors" are considered (ATL) above-the-line 'Principal Cast Members'... so YES... ATL principal cast members can (and often do) negotiate for points on the back-end. Especially if Faizon's name appears in the 'opening credits'... not just in the closing credits.

(When an actor's name appears in the opening credits.... that's a clear indication that they were considered ATL above-the-line talent, for that movie. Regardless if they had a small part, or not. However, Extras are never considered Principal Cast Members)

So just because Faizon wasn't the biggest star of the movie... it doesn't (automatically) mean his agent wasn't unable to negotiate a deal that could pay him residuals on the back-end, based on the success of the movie.

If Vince Vaughn was making about $18 million... how much do you think Faizon made if there's only 2 other 'supporting' actors, including him??

Sssshhheeeiiitttt..... I definitely think Faizon made a nice bag off this project..

"The movie poster in question allegedly excluded Love’s name and likeness, while those of white cast members remained. Actress Kali Hawk, who is also Black, was also allegedly removed from the image. By contrast, the American key art featured Love and Hawk posing in character behind white costars Vince Vaughn, Jason Bateman, Jon Favreau, Kristin Davis, Malin Akerman and Kristen Bell.

“Mr. Love saw Couples Retreat as his opportunity to present his talents as a prominent Black comedic actor to national and international audiences, and went so far as to safeguard that opportunity,” read court documents obtained by The Times in December.

“However, Mr. Love’s career trajectory was cut short when Defendants excised his name and likeness from the film’s international promotional poster, simply because he is Black.”

I know, it was a joke and I was fucking with him.

Regarding removing his name and likeness, that was fucked up and more should’ve been made of it.

There’s been other movies where the Black actors were removed from posters and marketing etc. Specifically in foreign countries.

A $70 million budget movie.... with only 4 male actors...
yet you think they only paid Faizon $250k... at the VERY most, huh?

You do realize that just 1% of $70 million = $700k, right?

So... that means they would pay Vince Vaughn 25% of the entire $70 million budget...
but they wouldn't spend even HALF of just 1% of the budget on Faizon. :smh:

Mmm.... ok, Sure. Thanks for playing.

This brother uploads about once a week. Averages about 80k views a vid and he's making 14k a month. Y'all still think KW isn't making millions?

Another thing people look over is that kw is investing

Hell I think the majority of his income comes from that.

Unless he goes hollywood that alone will be good for the rest of his life.

Look at the crib he build.
