I find it pretty annoying. But then I think about it for a minute: I don't want to beat a dead horse here about an issue that we have kind of resolved, but I'd say the negative attitude of some of the guys posting in here could be a factor.
For me personally: as much as I get annoyed when some guys are ambiguous about naming the porn stars they're talking about.... the fact is that I kinda know some porn stars too! I think that's because most people are taught (and believe) that if you do bad stuff in life then bad things will happen to you. Most people (even probably the majority of those that engage in it) think that doing porn and prostituting yourself is wrong. So most people probably don't think good things are gonna happen to the people that do it. Even Dr. King said that the moral arc of the universe bends towards justice, or something to that effect, so when people see someone do something they consider bad and there aren't any readily apparent negative consequences, it probably does trigger some folk's moral outrage. And let's be honest, a lot of these hoes do end up in a bad way. Dead, prison, dope fiends, etc. I have seen way more sob stories than I have success stories when it comes to porn chicks. So for those that do seemingly "beat the system" so to speak, unfortunately there are some people out there who won't be happy about that. And to be honest there are probably other porn chicks who didn't come out of the game intact that feel that way about the chicks that did turn out okay too. A lot of that is just being human.
What was always interesting to me was who makes it out okay and who doesn't. I never thought Angel Cummings would've ended up homeless, strung out, and disease ridden only to die by her early 30s. On the other hand I have been genuinely surprised by some of these other chicks who've gotten wifed up, become doctors, nurses, etc., and otherwise appear to be living their best lives.
