Official 2025 NFL Discussion preseason edition!!!

Yeah fam, I saw that a couple days ago
With the weapons he already has, Trey doesn't even have to do much to be successful
I don't get this narrative that "He's not ready to start, etc, etc"

He'll have a good rum game + Deebo + Kittle + our 3rd pass catcher Brandon Aiyuk + a decent defense
Plus Shannahan scheming guys wide open
All Trey has to do is just manage the game
And anything else on top of that is just gravy
Booger must've missed Jordan Love playing against KC. :dunno:

The thing is.. Boogers take was a typical Booger take. Completely uninformed and really doesn't make sense.

"He couldn't stay healthy" - Trey injured his finger and knee. If he was the full time starter he would have missed 3 games. Yet Booger acts like he was injured all season long.

"From a quarterbacking standpoint, I didn't see enough." - He literally started 2 games. TWO!!! And I bet Booger did not watch those games. He probably watched the ESPN highlights and came up with a conclusion.

Remember, Booger started it off by saying, "I don't think." We should have ignored him after that. This is the same guy that had such hot takes as...

I'm curious to see what happens with these young QB's next season

1. Mac Jones
I can see him having a Kirk Cousins type of year
I think he'll put up some serious numbers during the regular season
But when the weather gets cold & windy in December/January, his lack of arm strength might cause him to struggle a bit

2. Trey Lance
I'm a homer, so you know I'm going to hope for the best, LOL
For the first few weeks, there will be some growing pains
But honestly he "should" be able to at least manage games

3. Trevor Lawrence
A new system he has a learn + a new coaching staff
Plus the team still doesn't have the talent/weapons to compete with everyone else

4. Justin Fields
See Trevor Lawrence situation
But at least the Bears have a few good players here & there

5. Zach Wilson
They have quite a few draft picks
Plus I think they have some money to bring in free agents
So, 2nd year same coach, and the same system
But a tough division though

What do yall think ???
:idea::idea::idea:

I think they'll all be alright and so some 2nd year potential (first year for Lance who sat all season).

Mac Jones - They have a good O-line. Jones also benefits from a good run game and short passing game. Its what the Patriots have always run. Their OC leaving wont change that. He'll put up the same type of numbers and manage games for them.

Trey Lance - Will also benefit from a strong run game. In his brief stints he's shows for prowess in the pass game, but specifically when he was under center. He appears to be a pass first, run 2nd, type of athletic QB. Those types tend to thrive. No too mention he has a lot of weapons at his disposal. Just get them the damn ball.

Trevor Lawrence - Trevor showed poise and some flashes last season. He has the tools to make it. However, this team has more holes than Swiss cheese. Bad O-line. No TE's, RB is ok but needs more depth. WR's have Chark and Jones Jr. but they need more depth behind them. In other words Trevor needs help.

Justin Fields - This is the biggest question mark. No one knows what the Bears will run. His damn coach has talked about how he likes the fast paced style of AAU Basketball. WTF? But like Lawrence his O-Line needs an upgrade.

Zach Wilson - Jets are loaded with assets. Surrounded with weapons he can take off. Plus another year in the "Shanahan system" will do him some justice.

I agree with everything you said here..going to be interesting to see how Mac Jones does with Joe Judge as his QB coach, everyone knows that if Mac looks good, judge will be up for a head coaching position again... :hmm:  :rolleyes2:

I like Zach Wilson and the Jets, if this team can ever stay healthy...if the jets win more than 7 games next year, ESPN should have a segment where Rex Ryan goes to Robert Saleh and apologizes to him personally and says "Youre a better coach than I ever was" Im hoping the Jets are this years Bengals..

Josh Allen’s Couples Vacation With Cardinals’ Star Wideout Causes Major Stir On Social Media (PIC)

Perhaps Bills quarterback Josh Allen is already making a fun sales pitch to one upcoming free agent wide receiver.

Josh Allen is finally enjoying some time off following the media frenzy of events leading up to Super Bowl LVI and it did so with his girlfriend Brittany Williams and some high-profile friends. Joining Allen and Williams on their tropical getaway, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk, who happens to be one of the most sought-after free agents heading into the 2022 NFL season, and his girlfriend Ozzy Ozkan.

The 25-year-old receiver finished the 2021 NFL season with 77 passes for 983 yards and five touchdowns.

It would take some extreme maneuvring for the Bills to find a way to afford the versatile slot receiver.

The biggest needs the Bills likely will have is their offensive line, cornerback, defensive line, and wide receiver. As we saw in the divisional game against the Kansas City Chiefs, a few seconds of defense could’ve sent the team to the Championship game and possibly the Super Bowl.

I agree with your Wilson and assets statement... They played the most rookies as starters this year, which I think was to our benefit... The only way Rex concedes as the better coach is Saleh getting the team to a SB or back-to-back AFC championships
