The previous answers are all correct, it does all boil down to what you like.Is Japanese wrestling better than American wrestling![]()
Hell no! Even if the Rock came back I'm not watching WWE Raw.
Question here for everyone.
Who were y'all favorite wrestlers as a kid? Did anyone have an odd unusual wrestler they were fans of?
My faves were Hogan, Macho Man, Sting, Warrior.
My one odd fave was Barry Windham. That superplex and vaulting over for the pin was cool looking.
It's the mark fans on both sides of the argument that want to see the other company fail and go out of business.I don't get why people keep comparing WWE to AEW. One is a publicly traded corporation and the other is pretty much just a television production company with 2 shows. And I'm not shitting on AEW, I like their shows. It's like comparing the Walt Disney company to Gracie Films. Of course Disney is going to be bigger and more successful.
It depends on how good the talent is at coming up with storylines.Do yall think it's better to have the talent come up with the stories or writers?

Was about to say the same shit. If she ain't bimbo built Vince ain't 4 itVince is gonna put her on a diet! He likes his blondes a lot thinner.
Makes sense he would stay with WWE since he spent so many years in obscurity in TNA making a fraction of what he's making now

Wow! I never liked him, he always reminded me of the old blonde sting character. More power to themI thought I read that he's getting $3mil per year...
If so, well deserved.....
I'd be very surprised if that number was accurate. That's a large number.I thought I read that he's getting $3mil per year...

U can't worry about the longterm when you're trying to establish yourself right now, I get that with aew... Plus you don't want to get into a bidding war with the E.I find AJ, Owens, Zayn and others choosing to stay in WWE interesting, especially with how "well" they would be received if they went over to AEW.
I think AEW signing up a lot of earlier WWE castoffs ended up hurting them in their chances to land more prominent stars when they would have been available.
Especially when one sees how many of those ex WWE signings were treated and booked.

Bryan already made his money with WWE, plus his wife has money too. He has that freedom to be able to just go around and wrestle for the fun of it and not worry about a large payday. Like you said AJ, Zayn and Owen all have young families and this really is the first time most of them are making big money, so I can see why they stayed.I think the difference between the two is families. AJ, Zayn and Owens have "full" families. Outside of Bryan Danielson I think most of them are just married or in serious relationships. And Bryan is an outlier as he would go back to indies just for the match ups that he could get.
Sitting around in catering isn't so bad when you're paying for your daughters braces. That sense of pride you feel when you read Twitter and fans telling you that you should be doing this or that gets squashed REAL QUICK when kids are involved and the money WWE is willing to pay, plus your merch money.
I think if they still have a licensing deal with them they do.Do they still get the merch sales (toys, shirts, etc) even after they leave wwe?
