Planned by who?
I would have to see Vince McMahon himself come out and publicly confirm this in order to believe that.

I havent been watching wrestling (WWE or AEW for awhile). I keep up based on this thread, a couple of websites and podcasts. Its telling I enjoy wrestling adjacent programming more than wrestling programming

With that said, a year ago I thought Riddle was a no brainer to win this year's rumble
The Rumble should be used to create new stars. I think Riddle checks alot of boxes. Charastmic, funny, a real life ass kicker, can go in the ring and it seems like they found the perfect Role with Randy to take the next step.

I typically root for underdog wrestlers & new faces and the biggest issue with WWE imo is that relay on the same 4-5 men/women. What happens when Brock finally puts em up or Roman gets hurt or Becky/Charlotte have a kid or Roman really goes Hollywood...who has next (or NXT). Real talk...its no one cause outside of Seth, Bianca & maybe Drew WWE has done a shitty job developing new main event talent. For all the issues with NXT callups a big part of the issue is that WWE called em without a plan and/shitting/inconsistent booking (Keith Lee, Teagan Nox, Cross, Balor, etc.)

that was the issue with the Royal Rumble it was predictable and the same old shit
no one left the match elevated or in a better place (other than Bad Bunny)
there were no big suprises
there werent enough woman on the main roster to fill 30 spots

Very disappointed at this Royal Rumble. Rhonda looked like complete shit in the match. She doesn't even try actual wrestling moves. Shane O'Mac's punches looked better than hers. I just FF'd when Charlotte & Rhonda were the last 2. I didn't care who won.

Men's match wasn't great either. No excitement. It was pretty boring. Had no real story. Even though I didn't like the ending of the women's match, they at least had some stories. Could Banks run the table from the #1 spot? Can Bianca repeat? Can Charlotte win and choose her opponent? Can Lita win and challenge Charlotte? The only real story was could Big E win but he was eliminated in such a lackluster fashion. Brock just plowing thru guys wasn't interesting to watch

I'm glad Bobby won. I don't give a shit about whether it was clean or not.

I like how Roman won. They'll probably rematch in Saudi.

The weak rumble matches really soured the night for me.

Wait so Brock is the Rumble winner and now he's in the Chamber too? C'mon WWE the man can't do everything.
It's in Saudi Arabia or some shit. You know he ain't gonna miss that bread. Just wondering if Bobby retains or loses to Brock cuz Vince may want 1 champion so they can be on both shows. I mean can anyone see Brock losing on back to back PPV's?? Look how many folks weren't in the Rumble, The Usos, Finn Balor, Cesaro, Shelton Benjamin, Cedric Alexander, no NXT people, they had female legends or whatever backstage then decided not to use them. I mean who thought once Ronda came out she was losing? Or when Brock came out he was losing. You took the intrigue away. Word is things we're changed 20 times b4 it began. All by Vince.

100% Correcet

Bobby going to loss in Saudi cause the Champion vs Champion will be the big draw for WM, I'm assuming Charlotte is going to be feed to Rhonda. Ain't no way to justify a two day WM with real build up but some thrown together matches at the last minute.

Brian didn't even wait for the ink to dry
