Nothing too major so far.
Daughter out of school, but my wife had surgery recently that's got her sidelined as well. So they will be home together for the next two weeks. MINIMUM.
My classes will be online for the next two weeks, but I'm still required to be at school.
I haven't checked my 401k since the economy started to crash. Don't even want to know.
I am worried about my parents. My pops have been fighting cancer for ten years now. I'm going to feel a type of way if the corona is the one that gets him. The chemo has got his immune system compromised.
Got some loved one going through life shit that nothing to do with the virus.
Basically, I stay worrying about the future for me and others, but it is what it is. This shit is out of my control. Life going to make me and everyone else hold many Ls without our permission anyway. Keep on keeping on, fellas. Life never promised us stability.
I’m glad I keep a realistic look on life, because so much shit has happened since I’ve made this posts.
Take those uncontrollable Ls as the come. Suffering is unavoidable. But keep pushing forward.

Caught it last weekend other then a dry cough I was good went yesterday to get tested and came out negative they offered me $100 for the booster now my arm sore today Merry Xmas 
Talked to my mom. Her older brother's son and daughter-in-law tested positive in recent days. They're in self-isolation. Haven't heard about any issues yet with their close contacts. Not sure if their kids are still on college campus. My mom's brother and his wife are mid-70s or so. Their son's late-40s. Hopefully those in their mid-70s are ok. They've had some serious health issues in recent years.

Caught Omicron variant on Christmas week. I'm fully vaccinated and boosted but still got it. Had the worst sore throat I've ever had and sinus pain for 3 days. I'm still a little congested but I'm ok.
Yesterday kicked my ass...
Fever, body aches, no appetite... Right now I feel good but I've not moved yet... still hard to swallow because if my sore throat and I go from having chills and shivering to sweats that drench my shirt to a point that I have to change it.
Hopefully that's the worst of it.

Honestly they should say the same about nfl games and nba too. It’s actually safer to be on a ship since everyone is vaccinated and tested. Positive cases are less than 1%. So it’s safer than going to church.
