Don't get yourself fired bruh. Talk to Tony personally. Don't handle that shit on Twitter.

Lio the King of self sabtotage/quitting
Tony was wrong as fuck but this aint the way to address it

whats very telling is how many AEW (non black wrestlers) liked Tony's post which validates Swole point
there is a problem with black presentation in wrestling. took WWE years to make positive constient strides.

AEW fucked up by promising diversity but writing checks they couldnt cash

You can build up anyone but you need the talent to be built up. If you suck at cutting promos and you don't have any ring ability then you're not going to get built up. Doesn't matter if you black, white, brown, green, yellow or whatever. Either she's naive or thinks too highly of herself.
That was also one of the things she thought they needed, was a creative department to aid in all of that. Sounds like she might have been happier in a WWE/NXT type system, but I don't see how far she would have gotten there either.

Technically they do have diversity. Diversity doesn't mean just black. You have Asian wrestlers, Latino wrestlers, native American wrestlers, etc. AEW isn't all white. The first three Women's champions were Japanese and native American. The first tag Team champions crowned were Scorpio Sky and Frankie Kazarian. The current tag team champions are the Lucha Brothers. Sammy Guevara was recently the TNT champ. As I stated in a previous post who black outside of Jay Lethal is world champion material right now? Everybody else black is either two green or two bland to make it to the top. You can't just push somebody because they're black. They have to have the talent and earn the spot.

Told cats months ago that AEW is just as bad (if not worse) when it comes to the way they treat their Black wrestlers.

I never seen a wrestler complain about having creative freedom. You shouldn't need writers to come up with shit for you. She wouldn't have gotten far in WWE. She would've been an NXT lifer never making it to the main roster. She also wouldn't be Big Swole anymore. They would've changed the hell out of her gimmick

you pulling a Tony Kahn
rather than admit that there is a legit issue Tony choices to ignore the issue, deflects and attempts to delegitimize the thoughts of a black woman
swole wasnt even that critical but simply honest

as I mentioned this isnt only an AEW problem but a wrestling problem in general
you dont address the issue about black presenation by touting your brown execs and how many black ppl have appeared on your programming the last month (I bet if someone looked at the numbers most shows there were only one black wrestler on the show and more often than not that black wrestler lost)

but you know what they say about a hit dog

Crazy thing is, she didn't even say they treated her bad, lol. She said everyone was treated like family it was just things she personally thought would make them a better promotion. I see now why Lil Swole (Nicole Savoy ) never signed with the company.

dude thinks he is the real wrestling messiah and above reproach/criticism
read something only that his response sounds like something Trump would say

only thing missing was my him saying...
look at my African Americans over there on AEW Dark...Jade, Bowens, Caster, Dante, Nyla, Isiah & Marq Quen all won on tv this month. I let Swole’s contract expire as I felt her wrestling wasn’t good enough.

In the last three years, WWE has had three Black Mens World Champions, numerous title reigns of their secondary titles (US and IC titles) as well as Tag Title. Even WWE women's championships have been held by Black Women.

AEW let a Tranny hold their women's title before a Black woman. Their only Black Champion to date was. one half of their Tag Title if I'm not mistaken. Oh yeah, and the FTW title, but that isn't even a real championship.

For all the pushing diversity shit cats swore up and down on when it came to AEW their top guys are still CACs. Even when CM Punk and Bryan Danielson showed up, the rest of their talent, Black wrestlers included, took back seats

Yeah, they'll give a Japanese wrestler some shine (because Omega is a Japanophile) but the way AEW has treated its Black wrestlers has been despicable.

Exactly. If I was a wrestler I would have 10 stories already written in a notebook on standby to pitch to whoever was the booker in that promotion. All you got to do is use your imagination.
Especially on Dark, shit is like 3 hrs!! Plus you can do shit like Being The Elite, where you can cross it over to tv. I do wish they'd stop with the over the top "bad bitch" thing they do for black females there. I'd tell Jade to stop it and also stop playing to the crowd so much.

Damn, they weren't lying. That Allie/ Penelope Ford vs Tay Conti/Anna Jay match was pretty good. All four women did a great job and took some hardcore bumps. I knew Allie bladed herself but I didn't expect Tay to do a blade job. I also like how for a street fight Allie and Penelope came out wearing jeans but Tay and Anna came out wearing booty shorts.

Also, they need to add more variety to her moveset. She's spams that fucking pump kick way too much. How about doing a simple dropkick, a German suplex, backdrop, etc. She got exposed in that Thunder Rosa match because she doesn't have anything outside of two to three moves.

I'm guessing they don't rehearse the spots much. Her lack of moves is why she plays to the crowd so much. AEW needs trainers. Any time you off screen add to your persona.

Dante Martin
Lio Rush
Isiah Kassidy
Marq Quen

They have trainers she just isn't picking it up fast enough. A lot of this isn't her fault though because she's being pushed before she's ready. This is why I don't agree with someone being pushed just because they're black or have a certain look. She needs to earn her shit just like everybody else.

You become a better promotion by hiring better wrestlers. Big Swole and Little Swole ain't it.

So none of those men are TNT title material?

Is Hangman Page really better than all listed?

Wrestling is scripted. Anyone on that list can be Championship material, so long as they are booked into it.

The issue I see is there's not enough good black wrestlers in the business to be pushed to the top of said promotion. Those who are good enough have either made it to the top or are currently at the top. What black wrestler currently in AEW is a ratings draw on the level of CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, MJF, Omega, etc? Yes I agree there needs to be more black wrestlers pushed but it has to logically make sense too.

The only people I see on that list that would be TNT title material would be Ricky Starks and possibly Powerhouse Hobbs.

Everyone except Lethal.

Lol, it's not just booking someone into it. You have to meet certain qualifications to be put in that spot. Are you over with the fan base? Is your in ring good enough to carry a match at that level? Are you good enough on the mic? Everybody that's been world champion in AEW thus far checks those boxes. Jericho, Moxley, Omega, Page.

You keep making excuses for AEW.

AEW has multiple Championships yet no Black wrestlers have held any of their singles titles.

Again. If they push them/book them, most anyone can be up there main eventing.

Whatever happened to Scorpio Sky. Cats were so high on him as if he was going to blow up....and nothing happened with him.

She also felt they don't have good representation. Brandi calling herself a black bitch and showing the negative side of black women it's not a good look.

Again, you got to meet certain qualifications to get that spot. It's not excuse making that's how the wrestling business works. The wrestling business is about making money. You don't just push anybody to the main event scene. It has to financially make sense. Will this wrestler draw you money? Are they over with the crowd? You push people based on that not because they're a black wrestler. Nobody black currently on the roster is main event worthy other than Jay Lethal and even Lethal has to re-establish himself to a larger audience because he's been in ROH for years.

Whatever happened to Scorpio Sky. Cats were so high on him as if he was going to blow up....and nothing happened with him.

Scorpio Sky has great in-ring but his character was bland as a Babyface. I like what they're doing with him now with the "Men of the Year" gimmick.

People don't want to count him because he's a transformer, but Nyla is black, too. They've had two black champions.

I'd also wager that Jade is a shoe-in to win that TBS title next week (I'm not mad if she doesn't). And I think some of Swole's invalid commentary is a little salt-induced. Because when Jade came in, that was about when you stopped seeing Swole on Dynamite.

And I can't say I blame them - Jade has the look, the potential, the athleticism, etc. And then you have Swole who's kinda boring, she's wasn't like super over or a great wrestler, and she's not a creative. She had the Britt feud, and yeah she did all the ring work, but it was Britt that made it interesting. I don't remember shit Swole did in that entire feud. She had a chance but she just didn't really knock it out of the park, so I think some of it is salt.

As for the brothers, there's still an immediate diversity problem, but I'll give AEW a bit of credit for at least making sure they feature a brother on Rampage. I think most of the episodes so far have had at least one of - Dante, Hobbs, Moriarty or the Acclaimed, and against solid comp.

But in order for AEW to truly fix this issue, one of these two things has to happen: either one of those brothers needs to have a breakout year, or they need to acquire Keith Lee in Feb and book him strong. And neither of those are going to happen immediately, so I'm willing to give them some time.

Also, they're only working with 4 titles. WWE got all these belts knowing damn well they don't give a shit about the mid-card or the tag team division. The mid-card champions aren't even listed on the card for the PPV tonight and it's supposed to be a major show. I heard Shinsuke has only defended the IC title like one time since he's won it lol
