I hated Blade Trinity at first but it grew on me over time.

So they were going to do some Force Awakens/Ghostbusters Afterlife stuff here(focus on new characters with the OG heroes appearing towards the middle of the movie)
Watching the trailer and clips, it seems Neo and Trinity have no memory of their past.
There might have been a reset of the Matrix or it’s possible they are stuck in some type of loop/glitch in the Matrix.

Being no human is alike, it’s possible there are a variety of versions of the Matrix setup depending on the person’s personality.

In the last movie Neo did make a deal with the computer that it would give people a choice, I guess the Matrix didnt go through with the deal.
My guess NEO is an exploit in the system similar to what Agent Smith became. The architect said all the other Neo's were either destroyed or reset...seems like his reset didn't work and they couldn't destroy him.
My only question his how Morpheus and Trinity play into this.
No idea. In the previews there's a war scene with the machine. Maybe a civil war within machine city. Who knows? I have a feeling this movie might be pointless and just made for nostalgic reasons like Ghostbusters Afterlife.

So far the reviews are split just like the last 2 sequels which is good news to me, can't wait. Check YouTube for the early reviews.

In the newest trailer, he even says some things that sound like he's Agent Smith

I can't front when this movie was initially announced I was amped to see it but now that it's here I'm not in a rush to watch it

More and more it shows that the first Matrix was truly written by someone else...
Just watched it. It's not terrible, but it's far from great. It reminded me of Coming 2 America, it was more of a reunion from a classic rather than a new classic itself.
Most characters outside of Neo and Trinity felt one dimensional. I really didn't find myself caring about any of them.

Just finished it 6.5 out of ten, 3rd act saved it from being a complete Custer fuck
