one good brother to link with is my homie Dynast Amir, & this other brother from st louis doin great things in senegal KingJrMahdi , theres so many good fams making great moves all over the continent, Dynast has a great network of people u can def connect with, hes more involved in west africa , but theres alot fam making moves in east & southern africa as well, alot of them r folks u can easily relate with cos they've been on this side of the pond so theres things u can learn from them as it pertains to customs and culture shock issues

My theme song

Got this album on repeat in the ride for a month now.... lol
This has been in rotation heavy since the deluxe came out.

Before that.
Wizkid - Grace
Wizkid - Sweet one
Really, Made in Lagos whole album is jamming, I let it roll

Yeah wizkid has been on heavy rotation ever since I found out the artist from this other thread

I like the African/Caribbean/American influences that are noticeable in each song.

Not sure of the term Afrobeats but I’m fine tooth combing this thread to make a banging playlist.

Any additional help will be appreciated.

‘Carry on……

the term AFROBEATS Is kinda like a catch-all term for the music that encompasses elements of AFROBEAT , afrolatin, dancehall, carribean,& soul, hiphop ,Funk styles if u ever in NYC or pop into one of those everydaypeople DJmoma events on either coasts its really a black love fest bruh ! the vibes r just beautiful all around ,the beautiful back women in their elements, the styles etc etc its really , a whole vibe ! those r some of my best nites out, no stressing, chill vibes, everybody high on that higher global african life energy!:dance2:

Thanks for taking the time w this bruh.

I’m not sure if we’ll ever realize the impact that living in a white nationalist/dominated society has on your psyche.

When I go to Jamaica, I just feel happy to be amongst people that share my hue.

This is why I’m bothered so by the Chinese having so much involvement there.

Subbed

Absolutely
when u grew up in the west u dont really realize how much this means to ur psyche until u start traveling internationally to majority black countries and to the motherland, when it clicks u really get a soul experience
