They do NOT want WF or Pitt in the College Football Playoff...i dont think Pitt gets in because of that loss to WMU, but if Wake Finishes the season undefeated, this will be just more evidence that the playoff needs to be expanded.
The good thing about my Hokies losing yesterday is that this will provide even more evidence for be fired at the End of the season...at this point is not a question of if he gets fired but when and who will we be bringing in...thats all..lol
It won't be legit until the playoffs expand to at least 16 teams...
I think 12 is fine for now..i think going to 16 will start to water down the product..by End of Year, i dont know if there are 16 good teams that will draw enough eyes into the playoffs to make it worth watching..you go to 16, youre going to start pulling in a bunch of G5 teams like App State..while i like the way App State plays, a lot of this is driven by money and your "casual" fan isn't going to want to watch Bama a blow away a team like App State. (if they win their conference)
NFL knows damn well Steelers and Cowboys having a bye on the same weekend is bad for business...

If it happens, Cowboys will be 3.5 games up, just about wrap up the division before November. Basically will be playing for a 1st Round bye moving forward.

yeah I’ve seen people talk all about how Mahomes is leading the league in TD’s but not mention he’s close to the top in turnovers and the team is leading in turnovers too, I’m sure those turnovers aren’t helping the defense
