Official 2025 NFL Discussion!!!

Dude you have no clue.

I had the surgery over 15 years ago and my shoulder is fine.

His injury is in the non throwing shoulder. The labrum is just a big cup of cartilage that fits in the socket of the joint.

Drew Brees had a complete tear and displacement of the labrum in his THROWING shoulder and came back to have a hall of fame career

When it comes to non throwing the biggest part of the injury is pain management, weakness and irritation of the nerves. Mines got so bad at one point that i lost 75% of the grip strength in my hand, but regained all of it after the surgery.

A torn rotor cuff is more serious injury when it comes to performance.
No shit! I had tears in my L rotator cuff and had a frozen shoulder capsule. I couldn't even sleep for the pain and physical therapy was torture sessions. :pain::pain::pain:

But you did not play contact sports

College Scholarship athlete

I initially hurt it playing college football. Played after the surgery. No restrictions, Hybrid defensive end/ outside linebacker, who had contact every play and had to use my shoulders and arms to disengage lineman and punch at the point of attack.

The recovery of that labrum surgery was a breeze compared to recovering from an ACL/MCL and fractured condyle of the Femur.

Most can play with a torn Labrum until the pain or weakness gets too unbearable.

Again you didn’t play professional contact sports

I don't know why anyone still argue football with easy. Facts don't matter and you can't make him see the truth.

Your sounding pretty stupid right now. You went from I did not play contact sports to Did not play professional contact sports.

D1 college is a major contact sport if you didn't realize. You should stick to other topics because your looking extremely ignorant in this NFL thread.

I knew people who had their injury and it is not easy to recover from….his (@meilmarc) experience could have been differ but still generally it is not a easy recovery.

 now you knew people with injury. The goal post keeps moving.

You probably never heard of a shoulder labrum until this thread.

I sure as hell didn't know what it was until the doctor went over the MRI results and said i had a labrum tear.

On top of that the injury is on Cac Mayfields non throwing arm.

So much stupidity

No that was my original goal posts and that was my point of making my original statement

Looks like you ran out of goal posts to move.

1. Never played Contact Sports.
2. Never Played professional contact sports.
3. Knew people who had the injury.

But can't comprehend the fact that the injury does not effect the cacs THROWING shoulder and also arguing with a person whos had surger for a similar injury on a shoulder that I had to use.

Plus the example of Brees having a more sever injury on his THROWING shoulder.

You may have made a lick of sense if the injury was on the right shoulder of the Cac.

Again I did not move a goal posts I felt like I did not have to express your points with the first reply until you replied to my reply

I actually thought DeShaun, would go to the Giants at the start of the season. But would rather see him in Cleveland now. With that run game and those weapons. DeShaun would have a field day. But I may go back to watching the Phin's again if he is there.

Don't think the Steelers should take a QB. Let Haskins get a chance.
