The Chestnut Man


The Chestnut Man is set in the quiet suburb of Copenhagen, where the police make a terrible discovery one blustery October morning. A young woman is found brutally murdered in a playground and one of her hands is missing. Above her hangs a small man made of chestnuts. Squid Games on Netflix 3 episodes in and it's pretty good so far.It definitely shows how far people are willing to go when their backs are up against the wall even though it may lead to death.Also the power of visual influence .You can tell someone you have a million dollars for them but showing them is a whole other thing.

It tells a standalone story within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The series is produced by Marvel Television and ABC Signature Studios, with Zbyszewski serving as showrunner.

Tom Austen and Sydney Lemmon respectively star as Daimon and Ana Helstrom, the children of a powerful serial killer, who hunt the worst of humanity. Elizabeth Marvel, Robert Wisdom, June Carryl, Ariana Guerra, and Alain Uy also star. Helstrom was officially announced with a series order at Hulu in May 2019, planned as the first series in Marvel Television's Adventure into Fear franchise. Filming took place in Vancouver from October 2019 until March 2020. Oversight of the series was moved to Marvel Studios in December 2019 when Marvel Television was folded into that company.

GANGLANDS on Netflix: I wish every series hit the ground running like this one. NO meandering around to the third or fourth episode. The story grabs you,sets up interesting story threads and character ties.


BMF 2 EPISODES IN and i already find this series far superior to Power Book III: Raising Kanan more involving story and a better group of characters mixed with people who actually existed that invokes memories of people i knew growing up and what was happening in that era

Halfway through Ganglands now since its only 6 eps, will finish them soon but loving it so far just like I liked last French netflix series "Dealer". Billions and Animal Kingdom both on break til s6, TWD on break til the next 8 eps drop. Loved Heels ep 7 again, hope the season finale next week ends strong since I really like this season so far. Still got 4 eps left of Nine perfect strangers after I finish Ganglands, and then i'll probably check out Squid Games. Have decided to drop Stargirl from my weekly shows since I just have too many and this season has kinda lost me

This is a Sci-Fi series that just debuted on Netflix.

The studio that makes the series has been around since 2017 and has a website and vids on YouTube.

This is not your average Sci-Fi series. This is basically “Black Mirror” being made by a strung out Meth Head.

The episodes do not have any character or story development. They play off as if you were channel surfing on your TV and something catches your eye and you watch it even though you came into the middle of it and did not see the beginning.

There is a lot of blood and graphic gore thru-out the episodes. They don’t hold back.

There are just 10 episodes that run at different time lengths from 4 minutes to 24 minutes. There are a number of well known recognizable actors in the series.

If you like odd shit that will leave you scratching your head, this will do the job.

Finally finished White Lotus on HBO .This was a pretty good series.Some series put you on edge when the first episode states
someone is going to die,and i can say i was semi on edge but it was fun to watch things play out between the various characters and Brittany O'Grady is stunning !!!

Ive been binge watching this show like crazy to get caught up before season 9 begins. And this shit has been solid as fuck. I thought they pulled some bullshit at the very end of season 5. But the shit I thought they pulled didn't happen. Other than that if someone is on the fence on checking this out. I would highly recommend this show.

Maid on Netflix

The family wanted to watch this one.
To me it had that been there done that struggling with life factor that I've seen in dozens of shows. The actors do a fine job and the story has some unique touches to it but it was just ok.

Blood & Water season 2

The first 3 episodes of this season felt so lackluster and like filler. It really didn't pick up until the last 3 episodes and I wondered why they waited to have a more engaging script until the last 3 episodes. Oh well at least the eye candy was great as usual:

Heels S1 finale was good but had an ending that makes me feel like they wrote it in a way that it could be a series finale if they don't get a s2 green light which is still up in the air

Think I'm finally about to start Squid Games soon since a lot of my weekly shows have ended their seasons and theres some time now before November when a lot more new ones start. Only new weekly shows i have coming up this month left is Batwoman and All American.
