Rockstar pushing GTA 5 back into 2022 means that they are going to try to continue to milk that cow for at least the next 2-3 years. :smh: (Which also means that GTA 6 probably won't even get announced until 2025, or 2024 at the earliest.)

GTA 5 is almost 10 years old... and today Rockstar was acting like it was something brand new. :hmm:

The worst part is... Rockstar has like 2,000+ coders working there... but they haven't made a new GTA game in more than a DECADE. :smh:

It's a damn shame that other game development studios like: Insomniac, Santa Monica, Naughty Dog & Square Enix (to name a few) which only have a SMALL FRACTION of Rockstar's staff are able to put out more games, in shorter timeframes.

I had a feeling GTA would get pushed back , the other rumor was the gta trilogy remake or remaster coming this fall
you can’t have both release at the same time

you right..man i was expecting the graphics i be seeing on the youtube with the realistic graphics now thats nex gen stuff but no we get the same looking game with no changes to the graphics nothing new just the same 10 year old game..rockstar sucks for real..its sad that normal folks can take gta5 on the computer and transform it to something thats breath taking and realistic as heck but the owners cant do this with the new systems.smh and its not like they dont have the money cause they do ..

Not only does Rockstar have the MONEY.... but they also have the MANPOWER. :yes:

- Fact: A team of approximately 1,000 people developed GTA 5 in 5 years, between 2008-2013. :yes:

- As of Today.... Rockstar has MORE THAN +2000 people on staff.

- So Rockstar announced that a game that is 8 years old... is literally going to take an additional 1 year and a half... to launch on the PS5.

- Wait a sec... that's 9.5 years... just 6 months short of a whole DECADE. Literally. :hmm:

- Which means that ever since GTA5 dropped, back in 2013.... Rockstar could have just used the original crew of 1,000 people TO MAKE 2 MORE VERSIONS OF GTA 6 and GTA 7. :smh:

With all the RESOURCES they have at their disposal.... GTA 6 should have dropped when RDR2 came out, back in 2018... and this year Rockstar should have announced during this Sony Showcase that GTA 7 was gonna drop next Summer 2022. :rolleyes:
 
I'm still waiting for the stores to stock the consoles. They are never in my area. Not in not hurry, but it would be nice to know I can scoop one. Sure I can order online but that ain't no big deal either. By the time I do cop a console I hope the gaming library has grown. For those of you that have it I know it is great.

This is what I want to know... Opinion drop here - people that are loyal to 2K, which is not an issue, will buy the game regardless of performance... Hell that was me for years, but I pulled away from sports titles last year... Asked my dawg what he thought of Madden 22 he loved it... I downloaded the trial played the SB replay and an online game - that hoe trash, not to mention EA decided to put a literal gay song in the playlist... Deleted that hoe last night... I'll see what the Black Friday pricing looks like, can't justify $70 for a game I know I won't enjoy much... I only got 2K last year because of Kobe cover and the free PS5 upgrade

yea but what held that back was the sheep that is keeping gta5 online alive.i mean i read that they make millions and millions from these folks buying cards for the online crap.i stopped playing that 1 1/2 ago....thats why they havent announced gta6 i bet they have it done but sitting on it till they mil the heck out of gta5 which they have years ago,,,,,,

Yeah, it's an improvement over trash ass 2K21 next gen. I must've deleted that shit like 3 different times, but kept coming back because I needed a basketball fix.

I like the way they improved the defensive gameplay and the mycareer story is more like a open world sandbox type of game instead of just forcing you into cutscene after cutscene, which I fuck with.

And they just didn't give a fuck about Red Dead Online. So much potential there and they just don't care. Robbing banks or trains with your friends should have been there by now.

I just read NBA 2K22 has all 30 PA announcers for all teams in the game. It's about damn time!!! All sports games should do this to get that authentic feel of playing in that particular arena. Very cool touch. Baseball, football and hockey need to get on board!!!!

We talked about it last night on the podcast. GTA5 sold 20 million copies in 2020. Who the hell still hasn't played that damn game yet?

2013. They skipped a console generation, remastered the game twice, put it on PC, and it's still incredibly popular. Did they ever put more heists in the online mode? Last time I logged on, people were on rocket bikes and had crazy weapons. I like GTA for the missions, because the novelty of just terrorizing the city wore off after a few weeks.

I think it was 2 years ago I kept seeing these YouTube videos of GTA mods and Im thinking what is this... GTA Online was wack when it first came, at least to me, so I was hella surprised to see that it has gained so much popularity over the years...
