Dropping some more easy ways to make money. A lot of the fam made good money with cleaning so I decided to drop another Gem.

Web design and Google Ads

This is something anyone can do and it is super easy. Really no experience is needed.

Web design with Wordpress

This is an easy way to make money. During the pandemic I used this to make up money lost from the cleaning business when we were on lockdown. Here is what you need to do.

Buy a domain and hosting package. It will cost about $20 to set up. Then set up the Wordpress software. Now all hosting companies come with the instant install for Wordpress.

Once Wordpress is installed, get the Divi Wordpress site builder from Elegant Themes. It is free. Here is where the magic happens.

Practice creating websites. Divi is very easy to use and the learning curve is super easy. Go on YouTube and practice with the many tutorials available. It took me a day or two to become skilled. I started practicing and continued to get better.

I went on Craigslist and looked for mom and pops businesses who didn’t have a website. At first, I called and asked if I could build them a website for free as I was just starting. I wanted to get one or two under my belt for extra practice. The sites came out great and they referred people

The next few people I charged $250 per site. The first month I made $750. Keep in mind I had just learned to use Divi Wordpress. As I became more comfortable, I charged more. My prices went from $250 to $800

Now I easily get $1500 minimum. Here is how.

Analytics and reporting

Most people have a website and don’t know how many visitors have seen their website Or interacted with their site. Here is how you make easy money

Google Analytics- This a all about reporting. It lets a customer know how many people visited their site or what keyword they used to find the site. Setting up Google analytics is simple copying and pasting the code in the website.

You can literally charge $200 to set this up which only takes 10 min tops

Keyword Research

Many businesses want to know what keywords are best to use. You can charge $300 to use Google ads to look up keywords for them. How easy is it? Typing in “ Plumbing contractor” in the Google keyword planner will give you a ton of keywords with search volumes to select from.

Select them and download them to an excel sheet and you are done

This is bullshit. Web design is NOT that easy and you will NOT learn WordPress in a day. Unless you have a natural talent for design, it may take a long time to acquire it. Not saying it's impossible, but it ain't easy. I've been in IT for over 20yrs, Java for 3yrs, C# for 9yrs and Javascript/HTML for 15yrs, but I'm still no good at creating beautiful websites. CSS is a bitch.

Designing a website in Divi Wordpress can be learned in a few hours. I have showed people with no design skills, that never tried to do a website and they learned it in about 3 hours.

In a few days they were skilled enough to churn out some great sites.

You don’t need the skills you mentioned to produce a website that is dope.

Outsourcing Work

This is a website I use to outsource work. If I am backed up and need a simple 3 to 5 page website built in Divi Wordpress, I hire one of these workers. You pay about $4 per hour. It takes them on average about 5 to 10 hours to complete the website,

It cost me about $40 dollars to have them create the website and I charge the client $500 or more. So you can make a profit without lifting a finger.

What's the addresses of these great sites? Also yes, you don't need to know java or c# (they're backend language), but knowing html, css and javascript is HELPFUL when creating Wordpress themes. I've used Wordpress/Divi templates and they are NOT easy to customize. If I wanna change a color, sure it's easy, but when I wanna FULLY customize the template such that it looks nothing like the default, it's not that easy.

Show us one of the sites you made Turd
Got my name and company attached to it so can't do that. But making money is not hard. People don't realize how easy it is to make money in marketing.

Divi is simple yet powerful so that you can design just about any website. It takes about 3 hours to get the basic and anyone can have a functioning website up that looks good. The more you practice the better your designs are.

Making a simple 3 to 5 page website for a your boy who is a plumber is simple.

Or you can be the mouth piece and outsource the design to the Philippians at https://www.onlinejobs.ph/ for a lil over $4 per hour and make good money,

I have a small 501.c.3 and I just used godaddy and did my website myself for a little of nothing :dunno:

That would be up to the person if they wanted to learn more. But with Divi Wordpress, you don't need to know CSS, C or java. Divi Wordpress is easy to customize. I stopped using templates after the 3rd day. After the 3rd day, everything I did was custom. That was how easy it was.

To customize divi just click on any module and either drag it, or change the padding or spacing by hovering over it. You can also drop custom CSS code if you advanced,

This is what I'm taumbout:

How Long Does It Take To Learn WordPress?

1. Basic Level User
You are someone who uses WordPress to update the content on your site – posting up articles and photos and changing text are the most common jobs. Basic level users don’t need to know how to code or how to download or install plug-ins (components for extra functionality). The goal here is simply to do things like add blog posts and change basic details on the site like the working on the “About Us” page, or phone numbers and addresses for example.
It’s a good idea to have at least a couple of basic users in any company to be able to post updates and make those small changes whenever needed.
Time to get to this level? 10 hours maximum

2. Entry Level Professional

Many people can do quite a lot of things with WordPress, but still without touching any code. It’s one of the amazing things about WordPress. How does this work? Plug-ins. Plug-ins are files that you can bolt-on to an existing program to give extra functionality. Think of it like this….
Imagine you are driving a car. The car has power, speakers and a radio, but no source of your own favourite music. You bring along your own music in your smartphone and connect it to the system. Immediately they all work together, and you have your own music coming from the speakers. If you remove the mp3 player then you can still listen to the radio, as before.
This is exactly how plug-ins work in WordPress. A great example of one of the most commonly used plug-ins is Google Analytics. This plug-in gives Google access to data about your site so that it can give you reports and information on how many people are visiting your site and what pages they are spending time on.
However, if you want to reach the level of even a basic professional, you’ll have to be able to learn at least bit of code to make simple changes, and that will take you a bit more time and effort.
Time to get to this level? 6-12 months.

3. Fully Professional WordPress Developer

Finally, we have the professional. A full blown WordPress developer will have a vast set of tricks and tools available to be able to finish up and complete all WordPress related jobs. Does our WordPress developer need a good level of coding experience? Yes, most definitely.
Fully accomplished WordPress developers will be able to deal with all the front end (visual) elements of a website, as well as the back-end (functionality) elements. Higher end WordPress developers will be able to build their own plug-ins for use on their own sites or to sell for use by others. Other jobs for these developers would include site migrations ( moving your site to a new host), adapting your site to be responsive, or adding e-commerce functionality like WooCommerce.
The important thing to remember is that with technology everything is changing all the time. In order to stay at the top of your game as a WordPress developer, you need to be constantly learning and using new tricks and tools.
Time to get to this level? 2 years +

That is a wordpress developer, we are not talking about that. No way anyone could be a developer in a few days. We are only talking about website design

Fam we are not building plugins for a local plumber or small store. We are talking about building 3 to 5 page websites.

well he is not lying well i dont know about the 1500 part this nigga must be making some csi james bond shit for people.
but 200-250 sounds about right and 600-800 are more for webshops.

i learned my self how to code and was also creating websites. i stopped doing this tho because what he doesnt tell you it takes time.
thats because of the demand of the clients. its hard to do this part time.
you have already made themes that you can get from envo but a lot of people want it customized. so you still got to put in work.

if you are prepared to deal with headache and shit then this is the job.

Why are folks shitting on BT?

He is correct in that people are too lazy to design their own site, which is piss easy.

I easily had 1k in the pocket from women who wanted sites to sell merch, books, ass, and many other things.

And they will pay what you charge.

For $500 and up I add the following as add-ons

Google Analytics
Google Search Console
Bing Webmaster tools
Microsoft Clarity
Google Tag Manager

Then I set up the ability to track conversions like
Form Fills
Phone calls (Mobile click to call)

When I add those items I have no issue with getting over $500

Real talk.
Made lil over 5 thousand last month doing this shit on just the weekends.

Got this from northern tool for bout $500
and got busy wit the side hustle.

I've been doing graphics and web design, marketing along with heavy SEO for well over 25 yrs.

I've built numerous sites, and done a lot of what was posted.

Yes can be done, but way harder today to generate real bread so I have to really stop web stuff. Today it's too easy for many plus dudes are on Fiverr building WordPress sites for $25-50. Logos for $5.

And those same clients know about Fiverr. So it's killed a lot of biz for many in my world. I have a bunch of graphic/web friends

So I have other hustles. Still dabble and help friends out but for clients? I quote them on a site with customization and they look at me sideways. Too many times I've heard "I can just go on Shopify or Wix or Weebly abd build my site". And this was 4-5 yrs ago. Them sites still going strong.

I maintain my sites on WP and stuff but so much is free and simple. Many businesses, have had their secretary or some intern/assistant put together and maintain WP. I've seen it with major clients I've lost over the years. It's gotten madd ridiculous for web work.

But hey every min suckers are born.
I do have a client for years that wanted an online magazine site. I'll probably hit up someone on Fiverr and make them do the work, when they finally send that deposit. Cause I really don't want the headache.

Bruh, I've been hesitant for some time.
But seriously, for how many years I've owned homes and done work myself cause of horrible contractors at times and many things I've done myself, I really may jump into doing this below, working as a handyman. Cause there's practically nothing I can't really do around my crib.

So many people can't do minor things like change a toilet, faucet, fix a leak, install some appliance, on and on.

Check this vid, inspired me years ago:

Told many friends over the years, either you learn to do stuff yourself or pay through the nose.

Especially when things happen late in the night when you can't call anyone?
