Agreed. I was saying in another thread how frustrating it is seeing people in public places' STILL not giving a fuck. Even pre-covid ... you'd use the washroom at a mall, restaurant, grocery store, etc. Even with other people around doing the right thing (and washing) ... there's always people who are in a rush ... to go NOWHERE. To go and sit down somewhere? Make the effort and stop and wash your damn hands. Or at least make a half-assed attempt to make it look like you are.

That's an interesting one too re: spacing and social distancing. I was talking to some coworkers about that - as we shop at different places. They noted there are many seniors who are hyper-aware. They take their distancing to the max. Fair enough. They're being cautious. And then you've got other seniors who seemingly fail to realize they are HIGHEST RISK ... and tend to crowd your space, or hover. Man ... back up off me. I am keeping my distance from you. When you hover around me ... I back away. I am not trying to potentially trouble you health-wise. Especially pre-vax and the potential to be asymptomatic. Same for the store staff. If customers are standing in an aisle sizing up products, don't come in and crowd them. Wait a few seconds & make your way over afterward.
Hell ... my aunt was trying to invite herself over for a visit back in the 1st quarter of 2021. I was like, WTF? Wait until everyone's fully vaxxed and we'll get a safe visit in. Hell - she's early 70s and her husband's 80 with underlying health concerns. I saw her last week. I wasn't about to just be oblivious in Jan/Feb. No fucking way. NO FUCKING WAY.
I was talking to my cousin (mid-40s) and he's got a friend dealing with long covid at the moment. Said he regrets being hesitant re: vaccination. Feels like he's in a daily fog these past few months.
Cousin and his family have been extra cautious. They have 3 kids and their 4th is on the way in a little over a month.

I'm in a difficult spot because I have a child who is immunocompromised so I have had to move different for awhile now.
I have had family who had chemo etc
So maybe a lot of this stuff to me is NORMAL
