Frito-Lay workers in Kansas are being forced to work 12-hour days, 7 days a week, in a dangerous factory.

Capitalism in corporate America is trying to ignore its own failing.

2020 was just enough pause for citizens to realize they ain’t gotta do sh!t they don’t wanna do no…mo’.

I know this, overall, Black workers in all industries and verticals are not going back to work. It ain’t worth they sanity and I lobe it.

Cooperate greed. Alot of companies with the lack of workers who have moved on to better jobs get the ones who they know need the work to make up for short falls by working them to the bone. My grandfather to me to make sure you have more than one skill set cause thing change quick. Some stick to one skill set and refuse to have a backup(coal workers in WV) and when shit goes side wayz they cry foul. Cooperation's and Repubs blame the unemployment benefits for the shortage of workers but in fact these people have moved on to better paying jobs than the slave jobs with long hours and little pay. The old business models got exposed and BS cause of the virus.

Chip lovers had better enjoy those chips while they last. I've seen this happen too many times. I suspect before making things right the company will close. Like what happened with Hostess.
Also they can move the factory to Mexico….Oreo (Mondelez-Nabisco) sort of did that. But they need to unionize.

They ain't union?

They will be soon like I said with the current employment market this can be done.
They are union already, Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers' International. Worked with them some time ago; never seen a union that was in bed so much with management to its own members demise. :smh:

man they can try to move it to mexico if they want and try to get back on track. COVID messed all of these businesses up because they can't catch back up. I work for Nabisco and it doesn't matter where or how big the factories are right now, everyone is behind and they need to treat folks better and accept it and not try to get those sales again.

Saw the title and was like “forced” but then again that industry ain’t like the chemical plant industry I work in

Being they in Kansas, it would not surprise me if they all voted Republican.

I get into it with my redneck co-workers about this all the time. You come in here everyday and complain about working conditions, safety, management, pay etc, while simultaneously supporting the party who would, if they had their way; revert all this shit back to pre-industrial revolution conditions :smh:

These corporation are not only screwing over workers, they will cross over with their slavery practices to somebody like me with their criminality. You can replace a worker, but when you cross that line with somebody like me, you are causing major problems. You can't replace somebody like me, this is the retarded thinking that needs to stop.

The members are the union. Union leadership is no different than political leadership. It's up to the people to shape their political/union leadership or they will be shaped by others.
