At the end, they are eating that staple food of Africa, Nsima, Fufu, Sadza,
Ugali or Pap as they call it in South Africa- eaten here with chicken feet,
gizzards cooked in their own stew.. In Africa were we ate every part of the
chicken, I used to eat those feet, but whenever I have tried to do it here,
I have failed because they somehow conjure the image of a primate hand..

black Africans live. Lord knows I cannot eat this anymore. I look at the feet, and the nails,
and those fingers gross me out. But I have misgivings no matter what meat, fish or animal
product I am eating. The only thing I enjoy without guilt is fruit. Give me any fruit, and you
can keep all the meat you want.
