Figure in the price and the attention thighs get on BBQ shows and the fact thighs are juicy.I prefer chicken wings and chicken breasts. I only really like dark chicken meat if it's grilled/smoked.
Yup. Been loving me some thighs.I BEEN on thighs, ever since I found out they have just as much lean protein as breasts.
How ?????No homo
Ain't no brisket tough unless you don't know wtf ur doing when cooking it........ when done right.... it's fucking tender as hell..... Jews got that down pat..... ain't no reputable Jewish deli serving tough brisket...periodI don't care for chicken thighs or dark chicken meat but since covid people will settle for what they can get.
When white folks start buying the price of whatever goes up....oxtails,greens,skrimps,mingos,pig tails,brisket...they love that tough shit now they done went crazy back in the days they wouldn't touch it.
And as usual.... breasts with no name.... so that more pics can be found.....Look at those breast
You need a chest freezer and a place that sells it in bulk boxes...... 20lbs and up at a time... it's well worth itBullshit like this is why oxtail is so expensive now.
Trim it off.... moron.....I don’t like the fat content of dark meat
I only like my chicken off the bone
dude no one believes that the breast is the dryest cut of the damn birdI use chicken thighs for my homemade chicken noodle soup. That breast meat dries out.

Camille there is a difference. To each their ownIt's soup. Dry is irrelevant.

Camille, true. My point is the consistency of the thighs is much better than the breast. I have made soup using both and the breast gives off a more mushy taste. Just my preference. The only way chicken will be jacked up in soup (liquid - wet environment) is for it not to have been fit for human consumption in the first place. That won't be just because it's dry. Soup is the cure for dry chicken and turkey. It had to have been overcooked and hard for soup not to be able to cure dryness.

Well you just gave me an idea for when the weather turns!Oh ok. Normally when I make soup it has more than one part of the bird. Usually leftover turkey from Thanksgiving, or leftovers from or a whole rotisserie chicken. I used to roast my own chicken to make the soup, but if I'm buying specifically to make soup, the rotisserie is a short cut. Soup stock tastes better when the bones have been roasted, imo.
You said the dark meatAgain, once the pilgrims get hip, it's a wrap. Oxtail and chicken thighs were at one time affordable.
