Anyone On Here Play The Guitar/Bass?

I bought one during covid, tuned it, and never picked it back up. That's exactly why I told dude at the music store that I didn't want to get a really good guitar. I had a $1000 snowboard when I thought I was going to go every weekend. That shit sat in the basement for 10 years and I never used it.

Man I am so glad I got into it. Absolutely love it!!!! One of the best things I've ever done!!!!

@phanatic..pick it back up, bruh. Between Walsh and myself, you'll be playing songs in no time.

Like Walsh said..this is one of the best things I've ever done for myself.

As much as I love listening to music, I love playing it MUCH MORE.

Bruh, this is niiiice

@jack walsh13, if you dig the blues, you can go on YouTube and play over blues tracks in any key. I do the slow tracks, cuz it gives me a lil more space to find the notes I want.

Nothing like getting a lil buzz working and jamming on some blues...shit sound good n a mofo..
I like that. That is a nice track. I wanna learn it.

I'ma get another one, one day, buy I'm still tryna figure out my way around these guitars first.

How's Voodoo Child and Good Times?

You got the hang of em?

Good Times should sound sweet on that semi hollow..
You know what.........I'm waiting till I get the bass for Good times. Haven't practiced Voodoo Child yet. I'm still trippin over the fact I can get successful tones out of minor barre chords now.:clap::clap::clap:

@phanatic @jack walsh13 ..

How's the progress..what y'all playing?

Learned a buncha new riffs..

The intro to Wanted Dead or Alive (Bon Jovi) sounds nice, but I need a better acoustic. Mine sounds like shit.

Learned George Benson's On Broadway..
That cut is so easy...only 4 chords with 2 different shapes. That joint is nice on the Semi hollow played clean.

Still working on cleaning up that Curtis Mayfield Pusher Man. Gotta work on the slide transfer from the 3rd fret to the 13th smoothly and timely.

Anyone interested in learning bass check out Scott bass lessons. Scott Devine is a phenomenal teacher. Had me real comfortable with the bass in no time. Was playing the major scale from the 8th fret and a Queens riff in 45 minutes. :eek2::eek2::eek2::eek2::eek2::eek2:

Bruh, I can tell you're having a blast thumping on that bass!

I was always team Fender... wanted a Precision bass or Strat or Tele..

Now I play a Tele and that thing plays like a dream.

Having a well made, good looking guitar is like night and day difference between now and when I was a shortie.
