we still need to get rid of quinn after this year (guarantees will be paid in full, along with mack). They can trade or either resign mack after next year (id trade if the deal was right). And our OL still needs work. we basically need new players and deals on defense and offense. so yeah. Justin is meant for the future, not a run next year. Hope fans understand this...

I'm not crazy about giving up a no.1 next year, but the fact that Pace kept 2nd and 3rd rounder in '21 and '22 means he isn't a total idiot.

It was actually a good trade, he let the draft come to him and didn't overpay. Some will say the Bears got the best QB in the draft or the 2nd best, that's how talented Fields is. He's a much better prospect than Trubisky.
