Columbus Ohio Bruhs...Im Seeing the Cops Just Murdered a 15 Year Old Girl Calling Them For Help....4.20

That warrants death?!?!? Shes a scared child!! If she wanted to kill it woulda been done.

Yes trying to possibly murder someone with a knife can get you shot if the cops are there and looks like she wanted to try aNd kill someone to me

That's an unstoppable force similar to Jason Vorhees. Didn't you know you can only stop teenage girls with 4 to the chest.

Niggas forget that white boys with handguns who shoot up churches get taken down peacefully and posted on here.

Im supposed to believe that a 16 yr old girl with a kitchen knife warranted 4 shots??
Especially when I done experienced equivalent shit and speak from experience? Nah

The cop pulled up in enough time to see her wrestle with another person, if she was stabbin, it woulda started there. I dont believe that she would have stabbed the girl let alone the cop.
You and I see this completely differently, cop pulls up all this commotion going on, the girl gets up and immediately goes after the other girl. The cop sees she is about to stab someone, no way he was going to get to her in time to wrestle with her. It's unfortunate what happened but I honestly don't see what else could have been done in this situation. Other shootings that have taken place, there is legitimate reasons why deadly force shouldn't have been used but in this situation from what I witnessed, cop didn't have much of a choice.

No we didn’t forget.

What you’re forgetting is the cops didn’t catch them during the actual shooting. That’s the important part that you’re forgetting.

When cops see people shooting, they get shot. When cops see you stabbing, you get shot.

That’s generally the case.

Sorry, I don’t believe the previous statement you made to me, you 100% believe it yourself.

But here are some comments I made about humans and myself earlier that you may have missed.

So I completely understand being emotional can lead to being irrational, which can lead to poor decision making. Now, if you believe that EVERYONE in that video was emotional to the point nobody could deescalate that situation before the cops got there, then I doubt there is anything I could say to convince you otherwise.

I just don’t believe that you 100% believe the previous comment you said to me.
No, not everyone was completely emotional. Some of them were not directly involved so yes, they should have tried to stop it. Yet, the only person who has the job and who gets trained to be rational in those situations wasn't rational. He didn't go with the disarming shot. He went for the kill.

:smh:

Ma'Khia Bryant argued about housekeeping before fatal police shooting, foster parent says
(CNN) — Ma'Khia Bryant and two other young women argued over a messy house and unmade bed before a fight that ended with the fatal police shooting shooting of the Black teenager, the woman who cared for Ma'Khia in foster care said Thursday.
Angela Moore said two of her former foster children had come to her Columbus, Ohio, home Tuesday to celebrate her birthday when the young women and Ma'Khia bickered over housekeeping.
"It was over keeping the house clean," Moore said. "The older one told them to clean up the house because 'Mom doesn't like the house dirty,'" Moore recalled being told after she arrived home from work. "So that's how it all started."
Officials in Columbus have released body camera video of Tuesday's shooting -- during which Ma'Khia lunges at another young woman with a knife outside the house -- and urged residents to await the facts in the investigation.

Moore relayed for CNN the story she said she was told by one of the girls in the house at the time.

"You're not the guardian of me," Bryant replied, according to the story Moore said she was told.

"They argue all the time," Moore recalled, "but I never thought it would escalate like that."

Moore said she received a frantic call from one of the former foster children, who is seen in police body camera footage wearing pink and recoiling as Ma'Khia lunges at her with a shimmering knife.

"Mom, get home. Where are you? They're going crazy," Moore said the young woman told her. "She said they shot Ma'Kiah and I said, 'Huh?' It was just crazy."

Moore said she started praying. Soon she started getting text messages from people saying, "I'm sorry." When she got home, a police officer told her Ma'Khia had died.

"I never in my worst nightmare would have thought it would ever come to this," she said.

Outside Moore's home on Legion Lane, votive candles stretched onto the sidewalk Thursday. Balloons and flowers draped the side of a tree. Mourners paid their respects to Ma'Kiah, who, according to Moore, had been living at the house for only a couple of months.

"She was fun," Moore said of her young charge. "She liked to dance. She did chores around the house."

Ma'Khia's mother says 'beautiful baby' has been 'taken from me'

Ma'Khia's cousins remembered her as "a good student, a good person" whose life was unnecessarily cut short by "disproportionate and unjustified use of force."

"As a family we are all saddened by the tragic and unnecessary death of Ma'Khia," cousins Don Bryant and Deja Torrence said in a public appeal for justice. "She was loved by many. ... We want to remind everyone Ma'Khia was only a 16 year old teenage girl."

Listen to Shannon speak on this situation, if you can watch this video and still stick with your “the cop was wrong” stance then i don’t know what to tell you. Even Lebron responded just like a lot of others in here on his Twitter when he heard about the shooting but once he saw the video he deleted his tweet

Agree with everything you said here, fam.

This is true, that's what you Republicans are afraid of and that's why you have to make new rules to keep black people from voting.
Those republicans are in power nationwide because far too many of us DO NOT VOTE. Many don’t even know you vote clerks, judges and sheriffs in and yet complain about policing. There should be ZERO black folks of voting age avoid polls in any local, state or federal election. Stand in line at the club or for sneakers but complain it’s only 3 voting stations open. Priorities. Kemp is in because not enough is in Georgia care to vote. Trump one by less than 100k votes. Shit is this way in most cases because 100k of us found an excuse not vote when you had weeks leading up to it to do so. And if you don’t have a picture ID, too bad, they won that battle. But how many fucking adults don’t have ID with all these debit cards and liquor sales??? Stop it. Vote no matter what and no matter how long the line is.

They do vote. But, this is why......
Asian Americans are the fastest-growing racial or ethnic group in the U.S.
I could pull up the voting stats from last election but I don't feel like it...they don't vote and then growing in population isn't why we every other group gets stuff and we get shitted on

I've said my piece on what I think of what transpired so I'm not gonna repeat or rebuttal anyone on that. I will say though that anyone thinking if the cop needed to shoot that he should've shot her in the arm or leg is either delusional, watches too many movies/tv shows or isn't familiar with handling a firearm. It's difficult enough to hit dead center on the bullseye of a center mass target that isn't moving. Imagine trying to hit a smaller target that's in motion.

Politician's actions are based upon forward thinking, not retroactive actions.

"How will this action affect voter turnout in the next election?"

Ask any politician, this is a governing principle. If you apply the previous statement to everything that has ever happened, it will make more sense.

Regarding black folk, we have demonstrated that our voter turnout is not dependent upon action, but more so dependent upon fear of what the other person will do, in other words.........

"yes, things are bad for you, but the other guy is much worse."

I don’t want to debate and I’m not going to repeat what I said. But the cop could’ve shot her thumb and she would’ve dropped the knife.

Any cop who can’t hit a moving thumb from that distance doesn’t deserve to be a cop.

Or you could be amazingly fast like @Heavenlywings77 and shoot everyone except the girl with the knife and take the knife out of the girls hand by hitting her with his gun.

Please stop with the lies.

I'm a parent, and the same way I hold my most loved possessions accountable for any mistakes they make, I do the same for my people. Unlike you, I do not pretend that all black folk are good. Because we all are not. There is some black folk that are evil and do not care about anyone but themselvesm. I am from the hood and I have seen this daily. With that understanding, I try my best to help those who can be helped and who want to be helped, while calling my people out on our BS when it fits.

I see parents like you all the time who refuse to believe that their child can do any wrong. And in the end, it's their child who goes to jail, flunks out of school, gets kicked out for fighting, smoking weed, getting pregnant, or worst, end up dead as a result of poor decisions.

Before you can correct a problem, you must first acknowledge the problem. This is where you fall short and are left wanting

People think real life is like a Lethal Weapon movie where you fire one shot, hit somebody in their knee, then they fall and drop their weapon. One thing I know, aiming for a leg means you gonna waste a shit ton of rounds in the ground or at worst, hit the wrong person

I didn’t want to post videos because then we’re just like them with the “But, but, but that one time” and it becomes pointless.

We know that cops kill us easier, but in some cases their acts can’t be argued against. Some police killings don’t warrant a protest.

I saw the video below a while ago and was going to post it here the other day. But it’s pointless because I’m not here to defend the police.

But people with knives get shot.

I didn't post it to defend police or show that people with knives get shot, but how dangerous a person with a knife can be and why that taser bullshit should not be the move.

Ole buddy handled 2 tazers and was still able to get to the woman and stab her vest twice.....

Nah you good over here man, I’m just telling you what they think we’re doing.

What they don’t realize is a that we’re all on the same side. We’re just able to look at the situation for what it is and observe exactly what happened.

Nah in general, white kids are allowed to make mistakes.
White kids in general aren't treated like adults.
White kids aren't treated like they are menacing or unstoppable.
They can fuck up and live to see another day.
In general
There are no lessons to be learned from attempting to murder another individual. Her blacking out cost her life

 the comments on Youtube about the police car tire(thats what that hissing sound was)

I feel like the cop had no choice, he shot the girl that was about to stab someone. He was doing his job, even though I wish he would have used a taser instead.

Yet, not once in this thread have you acknowledged that the girl who was shot was wrong. Nor have you acknowledged that the 4 adults and parents that where there were wrong.

I know people like you very well. Your life has had many hurdles and instead of figuring out how to overcome those obstacles, it's easier to just blame the white man. No matter the problem, it's the white man's fault.

My brother, until you can acknowledge your role in all of the misfortune you may have had, you will never achieve the level of greatness you are capable of.
   @ Knife City
I bursted into the most uproarious of disrespectful laughter at the entire post.
