Maybe we need to start changing our opinions about joining the police departments. We complain but nothing changes. Actually we need to start applying for police positions ourselves. We need black officers to patrol our neighborhoods.

These white officers guys are scared to death. They lack the mental toughness for the job. That's why they're so fast to grab their guns. We say it takes a black man to raise a black boy. I think it takes black men to patrol our neighborhoods. The idea may not be totally sound but at the very least it would lessen the number of white officers shooting our people and patrolling our streets. There would be fewer white scared to the bone cops to contend with.

I always wondered why this wasn't handled by the bloods/crips, cartels/MS-13 or Detroit/Chicago gangs. They have the weapons and money to infiltrate the police departments with bounties. But they seem to just focused on killing each other kids and the elderly. If they are going to take a life and end up in jail why not take one from these crooked cops.

All the protests in the streets why not protest in front of those cops homes. Have their family in fear when they walk out. But yet they go and protest in front of the black mayor in Atlanta's home. The fear that people know where you live make you change your habits, quickly. Your spouse will make you change it up quick for her kids. Or she will leave you to deal with it on your own.

I couldn't imagine joining the KKK, or some other organization designed to attack and torture people who look like me.

I could not be a part of an organization where I would have to bite my tongue on the truth , to say I didn't see something I've seen in order to protect the shield rather than uphold law Justice and Order for fear of my own life , the life of my family and my career

There are black police officers , both men and women. Look no further than the story of Cariol Horne, a black woman fired after almost 20 years of service because she stopped a fellow police officer from continuing the chokehold on a victim.

You have others who just keep their head down and do what they can do to get through to their pension. They hear no evil see no evil and speak no evil in order to keep their jobs.

The only way I could be a police officer would be if I was The Spook Who Sat by the door. If I where to record visually everything that I saw, every illegal act to shine the light on the corruption that we all know is there and it doesn't even hide

I know a black cop that recently retired after 30 years of police work. I asked him how the brutality persist when so many large metro departments have black chiefs. He said that right below the chiefs (that are usually brought in from outside) there are layers of through the ranks, hardened squad commanders, captains, sergeants etc.that will undermine and sabotage him if he moves to change the culture in any way shape or form. He can't get rid of them, because they have an iron clad mutual protection pact and network, on top of the actual police union. I wanted to ask him how he put up with it so long, but I don't know him that well.

They need to be hunted down while they are off duty to the point they need to start wearing masks on duty so they can feel safe.

That's wild. But this story is the only way this shit would stop and it would stop fucking quick

White people in cops would be mad across the United States, but with no one to blame they can't do shit about it. The threat, the internal threat of someone killing cops because they killed unarmed black people and we don't know who the killers are... the killer might as well be Kaiser Soze

Anytime a person is killed or in the story I saw today Paralyzed by police I think of this story that I wrote. This is the only way to Justice. This is the only thing that would stop it.

If cops Across America believe their own lives were in the crosshairs simply by killing black people, it would stop. The only thing they could do is stop reporting it, and even then there's thousands of cops who could be killed for the killing of unarmed black people
