Yes the guy took two steps towards him but they weren’t aggressive steps and they weren’t fast.

We’re not cops, so why would we shoot our Mom? Of course we wouldn’t want or Mom in jail, but if we rolled up on the scene like the cop and saw our Mom run at the woman in a stabbing motion.
Then there’s nothing that we could do other than probably try and stop it.
You know what one of my biggest worries is? Young folks reading this bullshit on twitter and thinking that that young lady who had the knife in her hand handled business the right way and that she caught a raw deal from the cops. Now they run the risk of running out and doing that same bullshit and end up getting shot the same way. There are lessons to be learned here if folks would quit with the sensationalism and start telling our kids some hard truths about how life really works.

She probably wasn’t the aggressor originally, but that doesn’t matter when the cops show up and see you trying to stab someone.

She became the aggressor when she left her yard and started chasing the girl with the knife. And that's exactly how the law is going to see it. There's pretty much no chance the cop gets convicted for it either. It would be just like someone breaking into your house and you chase them down the street and shoot em in the back. You'd go to jail before they would.
