Houston super lawyer Tony Buzbee sues Deshaun Watson

Deshaun Watson's attorney files response to 22 lawsuits against Houston Texans QB

HOUSTON -- Attorney Rusty Hardin has filed an answer to the 22 lawsuits filed against Deshaun Watson that says the Houston Texans quarterback's legal team has "already uncovered evidence that numerous allegations in this onslaught of cases are simply not true or accurate."

From March 16 to April 14, 23 lawsuits were filed against Watson alleging inappropriate conduct and sexual assault. One lawsuit was dropped by a plaintiff "for now," according to court documents, "in light of privacy and security concerns."

The answer, filed Monday, says the lawsuits filed against Watson are "replete with mischaracterizations of [his] conduct."

"These range from being misleading, to fraudulent, to slanderous," the document says. "Importantly, only two of the twenty-two lawsuits allege that Mr. Watson forced any type of sexual activity -- an allegation Mr. Watson again vehemently denies."

Watson's legal response alleges that after eight of the plaintiffs massaged Watson, all "bragged about, praised, and were excited about massaging Mr. Watson." The document also says seven plaintiffs "willingly worked or offered to work with Mr. Watson after their alleged incidents," three plaintiffs "lied about the number of sessions they actually had" with Watson, three plaintiffs "lied about their alleged trauma and resulting harm" and five plaintiffs "told others they wanted to get money out of" Watson.

The answer goes into detail rebutting allegations made by several of the women who filed the lawsuits against Watson, naming 16 plaintiffs specifically.

"It was not until the plaintiffs saw an opportunity for a money grab that they changed their stories to convert therapy sessions they bragged about to friends and family to something much more nefarious," Watson's answer alleges.

"Mr. Watson has been adamant that he did not engage in any improper conduct and we strongly believe him," Hardin said in a statement released Monday afternoon. "Therefore, the answer to the question of whether we are saying that all 22 plaintiffs are lying about the allegations of sexual misconduct by Mr. Watson is a resounding yes."

Attorney Tony Buzbee, who is representing the 22 women who have filed the lawsuits, said in a statement that "Watson's only defense is to call these brave women liars."

"The weak and vague allegations made in Defendant's response are demonstrably false. Watson can't deny he sought out an unusually high number of women for massages on Instagram; he doesn't deny he insisted on being nude or nearly nude; he can't deny the massage sessions occurred; he can't deny he wanted more than a 'massage'; and he hasn't credibly denied that something bad happened during the session -- he instead claims that any sexual acts were consensual. Of course his definition of 'consent' doesn't comport with that of everyone else. I have faith that the court process will sort out the truth as these matters progress," Buzbee added.

Before this answer, Watson's lone comments came when he posted a statement on Twitter saying he had not seen the lawsuit but had previously rejected "a baseless six-figure settlement demand."

"I have never treated any woman with anything other than the utmost respect," Watson said in his statement.

The NFL has launched an investigation into Watson under its personal conduct policy, and on April 6, NFL spokesperson Brian McCarthy called the allegations against the quarterback "deeply disturbing."

Agreed.

The only thing I can see going wrong is that those cacs in Texas may try to get both Watson and the hoes on some trafficking shit. That is their last chance to get him and the hoes were just a tool for that purpose...
Damn I didn't consider that. First one flips win?

When this was first mentioned in this case, this is the only that has be somewhat worried. These hoes ain't got shit

That is called getting out in front of it. There can be no doubt that he was having sex with these heauxs...the only question is whether it was consensual. What is 'acting inappropriately' with others? He only admitted to consensual sex...and we all already know that....there is no admission of anything inappropriate about that

it’s inappropriate to get sex when you initially went for a massage, Robert Kraft was having consensual sex too but he still got in trouble with the law for it

These hoes are destroying me too

Whoever was willing to give these lying ass heaux the benefit of doubt because there happened to be 22 accusers is an advocate for being a soft target. Some even suggested Watson should have paid them hush funds :smh:

The fully executed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) for the sexual encounters says he actually listened to Dave Chapelle :giggle::cheers:

Nothing happened to Kraft
What happened to Robert Kraft?
Kraft also wasn't in Texas...It's always a strawman comparison to compare cases in various states since all states have different laws.

Kraft was brought up on charges but they were dismissed because he had money and status, they had him on video but because of his status the judge wouldn’t allow it. If he had been just a regular Joe that they busted he would’ve went to trial

Palm Beach County court records show that the charge was dropped Thursday. Palm Beach State Attorney Dave Aronberg will explain the decision during an online press conference later Thursday.

The Florida fourth district court of appeal found last month that Jupiter police violated the rights of Kraft and others when they secretly installed video cameras inside massage rooms at the Orchids of Asia Day Spa in early 2019. The court then blocked use of the video footage at trial.

The recordings, which have not been made public, are the only known evidence the men paid for sex.

Prosecutors decided this week not to appeal that decision to the Florida Supreme Court, saying a loss there could have “broader, negative implications” on future law enforcement investigations beyond the Kraft case

Yep, nothing happened. His life was minimally impacted. He didn't even go to court, his attorney did.

Yep, examples need to made

The NFL is about to have egg on their face for making any statements beyond the investigation being ongoing. Litigation 101
Damn so the NFL did not say something that reflect “we’ll Investigate to see if any wrong doings occurred”

The NFL were quick to say the accusations were "deeply disturbing", including the non-plausible facial out of nowhere.

First thing I thought and thats a federal charge.

they talked about this on The Odd Couple a couple of weeks ago, the woman talked like only Watson would be in trouble not the women

So what’s the root of this. Who’s behind this? Was this something that was being hushed and now came to light nationally since it looks like he wants out.

I asked now I’m going back and read y’all comments

I think it was probably an open secret that he was running through instagram thots and the organization decided to put him in his place a little bit. I think they thought he would quickly settle to keep the shit from coming out and, as a result, he would have the prospect of it coming out hanging over his head like the sword of Damocles and all of the "I want out" talk would stop. I think everything jumped the shark when he decided to not settle because not only did they lose the potential leverage the settlement would provide, but they destroyed the value of their key asset.

As for the hoes, they are just doing what hoes do; Talk too much, short sighted etc. and basically are useful idiots in this shit. I am sure Buzbee promised them that this would all be quick and nobody would even know they were involved. :smh:

Let's not forget that it's suspected that Watson wanting OUT of the Texans started the anonymous heaux train that Buzbee constructed to keep him in line but things are unraveling. NFL players run through IG hoes everyday, b.
