I don't know if he's the better overall player (than Kobe).
He won't end his career as scoring champion. He won't even end up having won the scoring title more than AI.
However, I think KD is the best offensive player in basketball history. He's created in a lab. He can score from anywhere on the court. He's 7 feet but has handles like a point guard. He's 7 feet and one of the greatest shooters of all time. he's 7 feet but also has hops. He can post up... midrange is nasty.. if you foul him, it's an automatic 2 points because he's a great ft shooter... equally effective off the dribble with both hands... nasty first step and also straight line speed on fast breaks. Flawless.
Now, there are many players I would take over him and especially if I had to win a game 7... but pure skill-wise, he's a flawless offensive player.

Yeah. That's why I said he won't even end up with more than AI.. he likely won't win anymore scoring titles because the types of teams he's playing on now and the stage of his career.

Does your franchise lose points for not paying a lil extra money to keep the team you just went to the championship with together?... 3 eventual mvps and a defensive player was on that okc team that lost to the heat in 2012... imagine if harden stays.. the team that lost to gsw the last 3 games in the playoffs let go of another piece of that finals squad with ibaka... so 2 players gone within 4 yrs that he went with in the finals... by the way ibaka stepped up big time 2 yrs ago in the finals in Toronto... okc had all them nigs and now has none of them... this is the franchise kd was with first

No doubt. He can easily do it, he just probably won't need to score at that volume anytime soon given the scorers he's playing with. I mean his teammate won the last 3 scoring titles. And he's playing with another volume shooter... not just necessary for him to score 30+ a game at this point during the regular season.

All I know kd was the best player on the court twice in a row for his team in 2017 and 2018 and that’s why he got the final mvp.. he got 2 more final mvps than the pg of that squad who has 3 chips no final mvp
