Until this party learns it needs to focus, and unite on their agendas they will never regain the recognition and support they need to succeed. The democrats must start thinking party first now or they'll eventually be renamed the do nothing party. This is the ignorance which continues to prevail within the party. There's no time for personal agendas.
We really need a legitimate 3rd party. Presently we have no legitimate alternative. We need an alternative that will to wake up the democratic party. I'm not taking Duckworth's take lightly but to vote against an appointment makes little to no sense. It does show weakness within the party.

As has been said on this board many a times. Republicans aren't that big of a party when it comes to ideology. Whereas the dem party is made up of multiple coalitions with different ideologies. So it's easier for republicans to line up, than it is for republicans.
