Biden has so far deported more Haitians in a few weeks than the Trump did in a whole year

i don't really care for haitians so :dunno: :dunno: :dunno:
edit...thier concerns aren't my concerns...I'm indifferent to the issues of immigrants..african americans aren't immigrants in the same way...we had no choice in being brought here so the african american experience isn't the same.

:eek2:

I j

I just asked a question... there are arguments that increased immigration is bad for the black community....also black immigrants tend to either look down on or treat black americans with some level of disdain. That being the case then how is increased deportation of immigrants a cause for concern for black americans regardless of who is president? Hell, they called Obama the deporter in chief and it was one of the things conservatives DIDN'T complain about him.

its a legit question...no need for insults or defensiveness...

Wow! The xenophobia!!! :eek2:

My feeling on immigration is really indifferent...on the one hand, I understand why people are trying to get into the country on the other hand, if the result of that is going to be not only increased competition for black americans BUT ALSO those same immigrants being used as model minority figures to be contrasted against the lazy criminal minded black americans who are always complaining...a ploy many immigrants even black ones don't mind playing into as long as cacs stay off their asses. Well if more being deported back to their own country then I don't necessarily have a problem with that.

:eek2::eek2:

So your country fucks up these other countries people flew because of it and you want these same people to handle their own problems? I think believe solidarity with other oppressed people period is important? It's clear you don't

What you're saying is what all of us want to believe but you and I both know that many in the diaspora that come here want nothing to do with Black Americans. They try hard as fuck to ingratiate themselves with cacs by putting us down. Cacs love it because they use that to show they aren't actually racist but it is just Black Americans are stupid, lazy etc. unlike the Nigerian, Haitian et al.

You can believe what you want. Its not about your personal feelings or how you feel they feel about you. You should care about people being oppressed anyway. Especially being a black man.

how does a big influx of black immigrants help Black Americans?
Did I say that it did? You are so narrow minded. I said you should care about people being oppressed around the world. You keep asking about them coming over here lmao. How does voting for a racist help black americans?

Cacs destabilized Central America, South America and parts of the Caribbean and yet the people who look like me come here and identify more with the cac oppressor. That is wild to me... :smh:

I must say, we strongly disagree here. This was applicable to Black politics at one time, and I know you have a more socialist worldview that is grounded in a common class struggle. But in the real world, pan-African/Poc/BIPOC rhetoric has failed Black Americans. That last quote in my sig is telling.

that obviously bothers you enough that you don't give a fuck about what happens to them? They ALL identify with the oppressor right? Its not about individuals or a select group that hurt your feelings

Wow! The xenophobia!!! :eek2:
has nothing to do with xenophobia...i never said they need to build a wall and cage the kids... I'm asking how does a big influx of immigrants (black or otherwise) help black americans? if they can get in..fine...but if they don't it isn't something I'm losing sleep over.

The OP is not American...I get why you are going there but nobody has quite figured out the OP's agenda...he been a weird dude for years on here and has latched on to the whole Democrat, Black people ADOS movement, foreign Blacks thing recently...he is supposed to be African but I am not even sure he is Black

GAMETHEORY is East African - probably Somali. But he runs from discussions of Islam, which is interesting.

I do and ignoring issues outside of America that are caused by America doesn't help when we face those same issues lol.

Specifically, what could anyone on this board do more to help? Other than the obvious trolls, nobody on here is pro GOP bullshit nor voted for Trump. Those are things you CAN'T say about many of the immigrants who have come here.

I do care..I'm aware of it... I think the situation and deals between china and a number of african countries are fucked up and are only going to get more fucked up in the future..I think whats happening in central and south america is incredibly fucked up. what do you propose we as black americans should do exactly??

It may not help, but if we don't prioritize ourselves as an ethnic group first, then no one else will. We can sympathize with Palestinians or Kurds or Black people in the Caribbean, Latin America, and Africa who have been the victims of colonialism, racism, and colorism..............but that support has to be reciprocated on a real-world level. You can read posts on this board from Hotlantan, Mr. Met, Drayonis, and others who express their contempt for Black Americans. And they're more the norm than the exception, especially in academic and professional circles.

This bitch don't have nothing to say? Isn't she in the administration? If she don't have nothing to say than I don't have nothing to say. For the record I'm from Louisiana lifelong resident. I can trace my family back 300 or 400 years in Louisiana all Black and none of them from Haiti. I know a lot of Black people in Louisiana and I don't remember any of them stating they have ancestors from Haiti despite what Joy Reid and Tariq Nasheed says.

Tariq Nasheed and Joy Reid got that shit from Roland Martin who says he's of Louisiana Creole descent and claims to have Haitian roots. Realistically there probably are some Black (and White) people with ancestors from pre-revolution Haiti but definitely not everybody as people like Tariq like to claim.

I thought he was from Tanzania...if he is Somali then that opens up a whole new world of potential motives for why he does what he does

Could be Tanzania. I just knew he had to be somewhere in East Africa, judging by his posts. And he's either Muslim or adjacent to Islam (grew up Muslim or something).

I ain't caping for anyone but I would rather vote in a admitted racist than a closet one and a black man that was more concern with upsetting Whites to do anything other than bat his eyelashes.

Enough of the bullshit....voting for a president means absolutely nothing because it's only benefited us a few times,Either somethings going to change or we won't be here in the future.

It's funny because I had this same thought. The reason why Pan African and People of Color has failed is because ADOS folks were overly represented, while others were overly absent in these coalitions. That's because they had other agendas that we did not fit in.
The fight for resources and privilege will always get in the way between the different groups.

Da fuk you talking bout.....?

This is bullshit. More Latinos actually voted for Trump in 2020.

This didn't happen leading up to 2016? And I have posted on here several times showing how trump not only increased his share of the Latino vote from 2016 to 2020 but women as well.

I don't understand why people keep making it seem that white women changed their pattern of voting with Trump. White women for a very long time have mostly voted for republicans.

Cubans, Venezuelans et al. come here from countries that US cacs destabilized and vote for the same cacs responsible for their home countries being fucked up. Trump won Florida because of Cubans and Venezuelans. The last poll I saw showed something like 60% of Cuban Americans are registered republicans.:smh::smh::smh:
He doesn't know his country has destabilized most of South America
