I just asked a question... there are arguments that increased immigration is bad for the black community....also black immigrants tend to either look down on or treat black americans with some level of disdain. That being the case then how is increased deportation of immigrants a cause for concern for black americans regardless of who is president? It may not help, but if we don't prioritize ourselves as an ethnic group first, then no one else will. We can sympathize with Palestinians or Kurds or Black people in the Caribbean, Latin America, and Africa who have been the victims of colonialism, racism, and colorism..............but that support has to be reciprocated on a real-world level. It's funny because I had this same thought. The reason why Pan African and People of Color has failed is because ADOS folks were overly represented, while others were overly absent in these coalitions. That's because they had other agendas that we did not fit in.
The fight for resources and privilege will always get in the way between the different groups.
