Xpeng Motors Inc (NYSE:XPEV) said Monday that it will receive $78 million in funding from the investment arm of a local Chinese government for business expansion purposes.
What Happened: The automaker said it had reached a “strategic cooperation agreement” with the Guangdong provincial government for an RMB 500 million investment in its China subsidiary.
“This will further accelerate our business expansion and the auto industry’s transition in Guangdong,” Xpeng said in a statement.
Why It Matters: It is noteworthy that Xpeng is headquartered in Guangzhou, the capital of the Guangdong province.

I'm a newbie to trading so point me in the direction to the how to's
okay opened a second account with RobinHood.
I literally only threw 100 in there just to open it but it's been sitting there for a week because even though I've been researching.. MY logic doesn't necessarily translate into what actually works.

they secured contracts with Lockheed Martin. that news dropped pretty much right after the opening bell.
How'd you catch that news so fast?
When i have the Webull deskto app open, alerts come thru damn near every minute.
unless you're working with multiple screens, (im using 4)....you won't be able to catch and see everything.
after the news comes thru....i check the ticker to see if there is any increase in volume that reflects the news.
Good news for me, I’ve got options on their competitor JD.
I think Ma is just a hard-head. Nio's CEO seems to be in pretty good standing with the powers that be.
