Agreed! Agreed! I'm not advocating not taking a class or a course. @Efkie recently posted some course materials a few pages back. There's a ton of that stuff and they're all highly recommened.

BUT there comes a time when you have to put your foot in the water and FEEL it.

Nothing in my opinion teaches you trading wins and losses like having real $$$ in the game.

I personally think taking a risky position and losing your ass is one of the best teachers.

There's somethign about that reckless spirit that you have to exericise.

You have to get that, "If this thing lands just right i'm about to come up HUGE!" type of "gambling" that you have to go through BEFORE
You start learning to take profits when they're there and not play the "What if it goes up higher mental traps"

You can talk about that stuff in trading course. But you won't really learn it until you think you're that 1/100 that going to be the one to hit it and lose 1,2,3100 times. Before you get it!

School of hardknocks for a reason.

Thats real talk... i had started investing first...then buying shit losing money im like damn.. wth im doing wrong...then thats when im like i need a class or something...

As long as you keep learning. When you make mistakes look at them as learning opportunities. Research where you messed up, ask yourself what could you have done better. Research what others, in this forum, or on twitter(subscribe to a few people that's into stocks, investing etc) what they're doing and why...Wash/Repeat.

You'll grow and get stronger. It takes time and you'll bleed alot! But, in my opionion, it's well worth it.

What kind of spread sheets do y'all use to keep track of everything? I'm looking for something that automatically calculates my entries. Shit I got now (free from the web) makes me do the math.

Yeah I have been looking for something like this too. I do everything thing by memory, but sometimes I miss shit.

I created my own in excel.

I have 4. But I gave 3 away in a divorce. There is a guy in Baltimore that had 20 homes that I looked up to.

I need better mentors.

i put some money into reit

i like the idea of real estate and my dad has a few

but i hate the idea of being a landlord

i cant imagine having to give half my shit away in a divorce

If you got kids, chicks are asking for 75% now.....

Aye some of em probably get it too
It’s easier to cut a check large enough to where she is comfortable with the idea that you won’t be able to bounce back than you go back and forth where she bleeds you every fucking month sorta like how she does.

Proof of your idiocy is on full display because you have absolutely no idea what investments I'm holding, my earnings loss or anything. You're just spouting completely made up bullshit and feel great about it. But, I give zero fucks what positions you're involved in. Close your legs if you want, or keep them open, wipe off, IDK!
You can join in too and get washed like the rest of the agents. I’ll gladly make sure your pockets are lighter. Post your holdings, pull up Level2 Monday and start seeing the bid/ask orders go opposite of what you are in.

@xfactor just randomly mentions me in his post occasionally for no reason, like he can't get me off his mind. Case in point, he just starts talking about how I invest, like he knows me. I don't even post my shit on here like that, never have, never will. I just want everyone to see he's a blathering idiot that just makes shit up as he goes. Why anyone would trust his investment advice is beyond me.
When you respond to and “like” any post on this forum and @HellBoy (who got his $CCIV position and options washed - like I said it would) post in here, it is fair game. Fools don’t know the power of AI/ML. I notice all that. Like I said, the challenge is put down, bitch. Get one person that participated in this thread that says why they wouldn’t trust my advice and I won’t post in here again. Don’t need too as I’ve already posted two tickers that have turned 5 digit percentage returns and one with a 7 digit percentage return. I’m good.

I don't need your permission to join shit. I know what I can do, and you have no idea. You claimed to already understand my financial situation, so stick with that level 12 fantasy, and not just Monday. Stay on that hot tip seven days a week. But, go on ahead and post your holding first, since you asked me to do it. When I come back through here it won't be to swap strategy with you. It'll be to laugh at you.

I know what you can do too, and it is post propaganda and frivolities. I’ve got posts of stocks I’ve bought and sold with entry and exit prices (something 99% of people do not do) dating back years all in the thread. You got challenged and now you are moonwalking like Michael Jackson in his prime. I have plenty of time, playa. You agents and shills love to talk shit but when someone steps up to challenge you, the deflection reaches epic levels.

coward behavior :smh:

I already posted one major hold, and told you shills to buy it up so I can increase my net worth. Thanks for the contribution

You're demented in so many ways, and absolutely defy all logic or reason. Just a subversive, super idiot. I'll be back Monday to elaborate.

I’d recommend tradervue.com. I put my trades in there and then transfer it to an excel when the trades are closed to do my stats.

What's your weekend research routines? For me it's the following:

1) Yahoo Finance - looking at what's being said in the financial world, reevaluating my positions
2) Stockdweeb - He post upcoming weekly plays
3) Reddit -WSB - Try to get a feel of what others are looking at
4) Some trading course video - Just wrapping up Investorslive course courtesy of @Efkie

Refining this stuff as i go. But it's clear you can't jump in the market cold on Mondays, Tuesday and expect to consistenly make gains.
I'm learning more and more you gotta prep during the weekend(or whenever your time off) and have a game plan for game day.
