I recently heard of a situation out my way.

1st- Daughter - was present for the murder involving little brother below
2nd - Daughter -in a car with a friend when the car got surround which turned into a shootout. The leader of the crew got killed, dude got off was pose to leave area didnt. One day the friends saw him and shoot at him, he chased behind them shooting
Brother(multiple calls) - outside the club with two friends mind their business while talking to my daughter. Something happens inside that spills outside between two white guys and a black dude. The brotha runs to the side of the club. the white guys thought my brother crew was part of the action, one go over and hits brother they fall, the other go fight the two other dudes, one had a gun and dumped six times the other white.
another one was he and a group of friend was stand outside in a parking at his apartment.
A car pass going down the street, moment later someone say that car doubled back. Not tripping he look up to a gun being let loose out the window. There’s like 10 people out there, kids playing in the courtyard. The guy hit the guy he wanted, caught him in leg. If my brother would been where he was when the car passed the 1st time he would’ve caught a bullet in the shoulder/neck area)
(The guy that was doing this shooting, is the one that got killed in my 2nd daughter story
sister - her bf shot a guy who been messing with him. There been like 5 situations that the guy was picking at the bf. Well this time, the guy approached him and flashed two guns well dude had a gun on him and popped him!!!

Let's highlight the destructive policies that lead to crime. Poverty and unemployment. Like I said it's easy to blame the people and not look deeper at what causes these issues. Unless you somehow believe that black people are different from other people and just commit crime to commit crime. If that was the case the crime rate or incidents like this would happen in upper and middle class black neighborhoods as well. That's not the case. These crimes happen in communities with extreme poverty and unemployment
Policy didn't set that house on fire. As a person with a Criminal Justice degree, I get what you're saying, but we can't put the dumb shit our people do all on policy. Policy creates circumstances and situations, we determine our reactions to those circumstances and situations.
