I rushed in here trying to tell everyone not to say anything to EPDC......

I WAS TOO LATE....... :smh:

Oh the homie can shyt on a product telepathically! He doesn't need internet access, my man does that shyt like Professor X!!!

But he keeps you honest so you can't be mad at him

Rich Swan is Impact Champion. Isn’t Moose still “TNA Champion” too?

Kind of fucked up that Swan (and Moose) has to take a backseat to a CAC champion from another promotion on his own show.

I get the partnership as far business is concerned, but still fucked up for the brothers to have to take a backseat to Omega,

That's awesome! Yo! They are finally using him right

Thanks to Paul Heyman, who Vince demoted from his Smackdown executive producer role to use him as a scapegoat to impress the shareholders when the ratings went down during the pandemic as if it was his fault somehow. But now he's behind WWE's most intriguing storyline.

I know this makes sense business wise to grow the AEW brand, but to me it comes off as a slightly desperate move to partner with all those promotions instead of building your own brand and letting it stand on its own.

AEW always wanted to be an alternative to WWE but as I've stated many times before, they are rehashing old WWE stories and tropes.

On top of that, now they are rehashing WCW history too. Instead of creating their own identity, they seem content with trying to beat WWE instead of just being a better promotion.

I like some of what AEW does, but they need to focus on what they do well and improve areas they lack in (women's division, storytelling).

I think the partnering makes sense actually to a point you made earlier when they first started. A lot of their wrestlers aren't heavyweights and their women's division is trash. This allows bigger male talent and better more seasoned women talent to be showcased on a larger platform.

AEW has the better TV deal, while NWA and Impact have a better roster. Having all of those wrestlers under one show you run into what WWE did back when they bought WCW, they became top heavy. Money was impossible to spread around while keeping talent utilized for 3-4 hours a week. This allows for more storylines and better match-ups. Jordyn Grace vs Nyla Rose. Kiera Hogan vs Big Swole. Shida vs Madison Rayne vs Taya Valkyrie across 2-3 different shows.

This boosts so much talent that otherwise wouldn't get used. The creation of a women's tag division that would actually have a division across the different shows. I think you are looking at this too small picture and maybe I am looking at this in a manner that they WON'T fcuk up. This gives them the footing to become that alternative
