Forgot Sami Zayn (intercontinental champion) was Syrian (desert CAC don't count I guess).

Imagine if Keith Lee won the WWE Championship?!

Damn, yeah, pandemic or not, you have to give WWE credit. The best thing out of this whole lost year has been Hurt Business, followed by the Tribal Chief.....

Big E better win the Royal Rumble and face Drew or Roman though....that would be dope.

They did it. “Forced“ to or not, they still did it and that alone deserves credit.

They could easily have:
Braun Strowman Universal Champ
Bray Wyatt/The Fiend Universal Champ
Jeff Hardy US Champ
Randy Orton US Champ
Alexa Bliss Raw Women’s Champ
Lacy Evans Smackdown Women’s Champ
Miz and John Morrison Raw Tag Champs
Heavy Machinery ( had they not split them) Smackdown Tag Champs

AEW has only had one Tag Champ of color, and Three Women’s Champs of Color.

It’s a mistake to have teams like Lucha Bros and Proud and Powerful in that division yet not have them smell the tag titles.

Top titles there will always be held by the CACs. Even the fake championship like the FTW belt is held by a white dude.

AEW is WWE lite. All the talk of being an alternative has never amounted to much of a difference.

WWE is a racist company, but just because you have a Pakistani running a business does not make AEW any better.

At least WWE made moves. What is AEW waiting for?

So it takes time to put the top prize on a dark face?

Doesn't work like that in Boxing or other legit sports but AEW, which wanted to be present itself as a sports based promotion has to have more "time" before allowing a Black or Brown face to run with the top titles?

FOH. I don't buy that bullshit. AEW is no better than WWE and cats go our of their way defending them.

Not defending them, but Kofi for instance been with the company for more than 10 years and finally had his run recently with a history and built in storylines

Scorpio Sky had been in Aew for a year, currently building a storyline

Both slow burns with one that has a huge head start.

What happened with Kofi was ridiculous, and I'm glad he had his run but like Bryan in 2014, he caught lightning in a bottle.

Kofi got that title run due to Ali getting injured and grassroots movement from the fans. WWE HAD to put the title on Kofi. There was too much story and money on the table.

Nothing against Kofi but if I look at him versus a Bobby Lashley, one looks like a world Champion and the other looks like a forever midcard wrestler.

Hoping Lashley (even though he's a chump supporter) and or Big E get shots at the top titles.

As far as AEW, let's talk Brody Lee and Darby Allin

Two CAC that were handed AEWs secondary title. No real slow burn.

Brody Lee has been in AEW less than a year and was given the world.

Allin been there since the beginning and basically has been propped up working with Moxley, Jericho and Cody.

Who the hell is Scorpio Sky working with?

Exactly. Anyone defending AEW or giving them the benefit of the doubt their argument falls apart when you look at Scorpio Sky. Dude is feuding with Sean Spears right now? WTF. And he is the only non white solo male talent getting any shine. Lets not talk about how for months the only black wrestlers you saw were black men & women getting jobbed out. WWE had a jobber too during the pandemic. Guess what. They signed him to contract, gave him the North American title (basically the new 1,2,3 Kid) and he is now in one of the best stories in NXT

we all know WWE track record. Whatever the reason they've made strives of late and i dont think it was part of some grand plan. Its happened naturally

AEW cant have it both ways. They claim to be something new. They want to be the alternative. They want to change the game but fall into the same pitfalls of other companies.

Looking at their track record over the last year its the same old bullshit. I aint mad but i am not going to give them kudos for talking a big game but not putting their money where there mouth is. The only diversity is in their women's division and that division is a joke and barely gets tv time/storylines.

if WWE did Brandy/Jade angle ppl would be calling for boycott
but because its AEW they get pass?

Looks like they are going to eventually put the belt on Kenny Omega. Hopefully because Moxley just is not interesting with his fake loose cannon/Roddy Piper schtick. Never thought he was that good.

Yeah I saw a different video, that was posted. Thats the plan, no annual releases. They didn't mention expansions, but I'm assuming. That is going to be the route to go.
