PlayStation ® PS5

Turned back on, system restore. Restart download. It says you can start playing at 14 gigs installed. That's a lie. You have to wait for the entire 80 gigs of warzone. It's also the ps4 version. I don't think the upgrade comes until middle of December.

Damn.

nope its the game plus sony and xbox are downloading games mad slow for a new system.
its cool so far nothing to brag about.miles looks dope but we wont see what games are supposed to look like till middle of next year.
yes you really need the 2.1 hdmi.i have both systems and you can tell a difference on warzone.thats the only game i can compare it too cause both are on my system.

Gotcha and thanks for the response! I don’t buy gaming systems and haven’t had one in years, just curious to know about the game play.

I look forward to seeing basketball though!

How’s the gameplay fellas, how’s the graphics?
Is it looking great already ? Or do you guys feel the hdmi 2.1 4K TVs at 120hz is needed ?? Or is it looking good on ya normal 4K TVs Regular hdmi etc??

That shit looks amazing

Like seriously amazing.

4k is definitely there. When you turn on the ps5 for the first time you calibrate it with lightness and darkness

Throughout at any point you can adjust the hdr and also have it run in 30 or 60 fps.

So if you have 4k it's going to be looking amazing

There's no suffering
Think running something that looks amazing on great settings vs max settings

There's a little difference but it's not night and day

That’s for the info! I’m glad to hear it’s that nice that’s what’s up!

I still don't think I'm actually going to have time to play this shit heavy but it will get use

Especially when they bring back my grand turismo and far cry

@Silk Dogg I downloaded Call of Duty with no problems bruh.

I'm doing the updates again now. So far so good, just slow. Transferring shit from my ps4 failed again. Will just have to wait until they fix that error. It failed with 5 percent left
Damn. So far so good for all of that. I forgot how long fuckin Call of Duty takes to download. Do you have the disc version? Thats what I have.

Anybody having a problem starting the Fractured Jaw mission in campaign mode on Call of Duty? Keeps saying content not installed and that the next mission has not finished installing. Yet I did the 1st mission Nowhere Left To Run  @Silk Dogg Silk, did you have this issue?

Aiight so peep

I already told you the specs on this $5k pc I got. I googled my gpu vs ps5 and I've still got a foot in the ps5's ass. That said, I'm feeling a pull.

Do you think that it makes sense for me to get one? As far as graphics it would be a lateral move at best, and I'm only down to Sony exclusives being why I would do it. But I think most of the shit i want would be released on all platforms.

I feel like I'd only be getting one because of FOMO.

Get it. Fuck dat other system the duelsense is the difference. Ya boy Jackson won't steer you wrong.

So why won’t the PS5 download ps5 versions of PS4 games if you remove the disc? I understand needing the disc to play the game. I put in the new AC and asked it to do the free upgrade saw the message about the download starting so I switched out the game for COD PS5 only to find out I’d have to download a bunch for that as well despite having the PS5 disc. I thought cool I’ll just put it in rest mode and come back in an hour.
When I came back I discovered COD only downloaded the Zombie Mode, 3 single player downloads were still needed and AC was paused until I reinsert the disc.
The cherry on top is my Samsung TV is dealing well the the X or the ps5. I get occasional black screens and sound drops. This TV has had these HDMI issues for a while now but I don’t really want to drop 2 grand on a new OLED after spending 1000 on new consoles.

Oh I forgot to say I can use the dual sense w my pc

I shit you not jack, my joint kinda blows the doors off the new systems

I think I may just be on the list of people who get one later next year. Definitely copping the controller now though.

People having external HD issues. As I said I had two drops yesterday but it's been smooth sailing since. If you have kids Sackboy is fun AF and better than other LBP games perfect for afternoon in front of tv. Bugsnacks is good for little ones too

Well rigs always are better than console's

The reason to get one is for the game play and experience -- playing it on the 70'' >>> trying to make your 70" into a gaming monitor.

also the controller is the 100% seller for this thing. The possibilities are ENDLESS
its real and gives an experience even the best pc games can't

In the beginning of spider man when you're on the train -- this isn't a spoiler its in the game trailer
but in the beginning you're on the train and the controller dead ass feels like you're riding the train.
when you're flying the WEIGHT shifts on the shit and it feels like you're flying.

the controller would be the selling point nothing is fucking with it and in takes the games to another level
i can't wait to play sports games with this thing.

THAT BEING SAID

I'd pay retail I ain't paying a g for it just off of principle.

Yo man, I went back pages in this thread and couldn't find it if you posted it. But I'm just a big ol' tech geek and got to know those 5k specs. Did you manage to cop a 3090? At this rate, I might have to overpay for some alienware shit if they can deliver me something.

I haven't own a console in years but for some fucking reason want a Ps5. Exclusives don't even explain my sudden urge this year to get one.

yo MKBHD was just talking about the controller and I was like okay that shit is real but then I looked it up and it did the dual sense joint is compatible w PC. I mean I use a dual shock with mine now.

And I'm playing on a 65 inch 4k Samsung The Frame TV, which I think is either 120hz native or with the pro motion video game settings does hdr and is pretty low latency.

This will really be the first game I've gotten that will test all this horsepower.

I do graphics and a/v production so I needed a joint to run the Adobe suite and pro tools but that was portable and laptops with that much muscle are high af. I was also trying to figure proof myself for a bit so I really went balls out last year w this laptop.

Razer Blade 17 Pro
4K 100% sRBG 120 hz touchscreen
Core i7 9750 2.6 (they didn't have an i9 when I copped)
64 GB DDR4
RTX 2080 Super Max-Q
3TB internal storage

Yeah man I like the experience so far it's only going to get better as teams utilize this. It's like the internet lol there was like 2 music pages and 1 information page until people realized all it could do.

I stopped playing games on my rig and exclusively do adobe and music at this point.
A welcomed change with the console
