Joe Biden is now POTUS

One great thing for dems is that Trump was the laziest POTUS ever. So even when he controlled both chambers, he wasn't interested in passing laws (except for taxes).. so he did EOs on many things he could have passed through Congress and made LAW. He wanted to do EOs because the fast-pace made the Trumpanzees feel like he was accomplishing so much. He was lazy though and didn't want to do the work. Besides the judicial branch work and then some immigration shit that Miller really fucked up, Biden will be able wipe out much of Trump's "legacy" within the first month with just Executive Orders undoing Trump's EOs.
Don't forget Healthcare. Remember he learned through trying to kill Obamacare that he supposedly didn't know healthcare was so hard. He went through that process once and said fuck it, I ain't doing that again. lol

Joe Biden is planning to increase H-1B visa limit and remove country quota for green cards

<<<US President-elect Joe Biden plans to increase the number of high-skilled visas, including the H-1B, and eliminate the limit on employment-based visas by country, both of which are expected to benefit tens of thousands of Indian professionals impacted by some immigration policies of the outgoing Trump administration.

With Kamala Harris as his deputy, Biden is expected to reverse the move of the outgoing Trump administration to revoke work permits to the spouses of H-1B visas, which had adversely impacted a large number of Indian families in the United States.>>>

Everyone winning on day one....hey Black saviours....we will add a commission :smh:

Here we go with this Fuck Shit.

Trump won 48% of Latinos in Florida and Nevada and the majority of Cubans in Florida but Black men are the problem... :smh:

“The overall fixation on Latinos is a scapegoat,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) said in an interview with POLITICO. “Because what's implicit in that is the assumption and the entitlement that a hundred percent of communities of color must turn out for Democrats and anything less is a failure while we just … allow us to lose vast majorities of white voters without any introspection.”

The thing is these exit polls are going to be skewed because a vast majority of Democrats voting by mail (thus avoiding exit polling). Right after election night it showed +4 with black men from 2016 to 2020 but I'd like to see the numbers early next week when they're fully tabulated.. most of those exit polls used data before even most of the votes in GA were tabulated.

Don't forget Healthcare. Remember he learned through trying to kill Obamacare that he supposedly didn't know healthcare was so hard. He went through that process once and said fuck it, I ain't doing that again. lol

Dude went his whole term saying "it's coming in two weeks" and literally never proposed anything. This dude was just lazy and the media let him get away with it.

That is a terrible take man. 275 judges and 3 SC seats, and his tax law are legacy changes. No need to revise in joy of his removal. Learn his attack strategies, mimic them, just in a positive, non racist manner. Trump, and by proxy McConnell, gave the Democrats that work in only 4 years.

You can read, right? Didn't you see EXCEPT FOR THE JUDICIAL BRANCH written in that post you quoted?

Most of those tax cuts expire and they're literally identical to the Bush tax cuts. Go look it up. They can't be "legacy" when every Republican President has done the exact same shit.

Mitch been packing the courts long before Trump got there... they happened on Trump's watch but that was Mitch + the Federalist Society. However, I've already acknowledged that. Trumped ruled by EO on a vast majority of his agenda. It will be written away by EO by Biden. That's not up for debate. It's a fact.

This clown made ALL the wrong decisions... and scarily, he was still only 50k votes each in 4 states away from winning this thing. The shit was closer than anyone thought it would be in terms of the EC even though Biden is gonna be over 300 EC votes and win by 7M total votes. Trump got those CACs out to vote man...no one will admit it, but this dude is a formidable opponent and had them CACs literally willing to die (covid) to support him.

Yall should be REALLL concerned. Not only this, he got better numbers is time from all groups EXCEPT white men.

AND yall lost seats in congress.

This is not the win yall think it is but I hope yall had fun dancing in the streets with CACs yesterday.

For sure. I have a feminist colleague who is still in denial about that scarlet number 53% of white women from 2016. She argues that the weighting was off to this day :smh:

My bigger point is that we see people across the board raising concerns about Black men but simultaneously defending far worse numbers from every other demographic. You can't say "18% of black men" voted for a white supremacist and then talk about the strong coalition of voters you have that voted for the same clown ass cac at far higher rates.

Notice that there will be outreach and consulting $ spent to understand why Latinos voted for Trump but only angry tweets and op-ed pieces aimed at Black men who voted against him at a higher rate than any other race/gender combo than Black women. :smh:

Bro, I am really trying to withhold all of these types of comments until after they are sworn in. Lol!!

The problem is asymmetric disinformation by the right
Propagated for years by Fox and right wing radio and then gone nuclear via social
Media
This election cycle left wing podcasts and Twitterati started to compete but Dems need to get a tv network (and NO msnbc is not a Democrat network - Joe Scarborough is a Republican and NBC is owned by a Republican family, they just tilt left because that lane is free and of course CNBC is right leaning )

Executive orders, none of that shit matters. Whoever comes next will wipe that clean after Biden. Judicial appointments are lifetime, SC seats will be 30 years, that tax cut is forever. All that will mean more to you life than anything Biden does in the next 4 years, while begging McConnell for crumbs. So tell me won again? Trump. Well at least till he goes to jail, I hope.

Tax corporate tax cuts are perm, unless a bill rolls them back. Tax cuts for individuals expire 2021 or 2023 I forget which.

This clown ass 74 year old cac danced on the graves of everyone but now he needs "space" :smh:

Like I said before, nothing makes me happier than knowing he is stuck in the White House eating fast food and watching the world dance in the streets like it was VE Day or something.
this the shit he was saying when biden did it

Joe Biden called a lid — the arcane term reporters use when a politician is done traveling for the day — at 1:02 p.m. Friday; 9:20 a.m. Thursday; 9:22 a.m. Tuesday and 8:34 a.m. Saturday. Biden’s early turn-ins provoked the Twitter set, professionally nervous Democrats (OK, bedwetters) and, notably, Donald Trump to scratch their heads or rain down ridicule.
“Did you see he did a ‘lid’ this morning again?” Trump asked Thursday evening in Jacksonville, Fla., pausing to offer a definition for the inside-baseball term. “A lid is when you put out word you’re not going to be campaigning today. So, he does a lid all the time.”

Trump made a similar crack at Biden's expense Tuesday in Moon Township, Pa. He gleefully repeated the single-syllable word, to the genuine delight of his campaign aides, who now consider it their favorite new bit from his rallies. In both cities this week, and again Friday, Trump compared his recent barnstorming to Biden’s days at home preparing for events, raising money via virtual events and recuperating.
“I’m working my ass off,” said Trump, whose own weekend golf outings and TV obsession are mocked endlessly by liberals. “I'm in Ohio. I'm in Texas. I'm in Florida. I’m in Michigan. I'm in Wisconsin."
Friday offered yet more contrast. Biden, who's been preparing for next week’s debate, flew to Washington to pay his last respects to Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, then formally settled down at home just as the lunch hour ended. Trump’s day had him stopping in Doral, Fla.; Atlanta, Ga.; and Newport News, Va. — a schedule FOX Business hailed as “REMARKABLE” in a characteristically flattering chyron.
Trump is keeping close watch on Biden's movements. In Atlanta, he noted Biden had returned home, again.
"Hey champ, if I lose to a guy — that’s like you losing to a fighter that, you know, hasn’t worked out in the last six months. This guy never goes out! It’s terrible, huh?" Trump asked, reviving his "low-energy" critiques of Biden. "You better make sure I win. I’m gonna be very embarrassed, I lost to a guy that didn’t campaign!"

The gambit: To hear the Biden campaign tell it, his travel schedule doesn’t matter. Aides say the criticism leveled by Trump concerning Biden’s events and his calling “lids” is more interesting to restive or bored social media addicts than to the public at large.

I was one of those in the 90s that used to vote for a Republican once in a blue moon that was not too crazy but all of that stop in the 2000s. The 2000 presidential election cause me never to vote for a Republican again. And also as I got older I got more liberal.
I'm right with you Easy. Republicans used to be more right than wrong on economic issues, especially regarding scrapping this miserable tax code. So when a candidate would come along that seemed sane, I would occasionally vote that way, since I truly believe that we need a pro-black presence in both parties. Plus, there were some Republicans on the national stage back then who were admirable, and forward thinking, and genuinely interested in reaching out to everyone, people like General Powell and the late Jack Kemp, both of whom I could have supported for president with no hesitation. But, that sick, racist, white supremacist streak that runs through the heart and soul of that party just seemed to override any decency I could find. For every Jack Kemp, there was a Newt Gingrich and a Pat Buchanan. For every Colin Powell, there was a Mitch McConnell and a Dick Cheney. Not to mention the Limbaughs, the Hannitys, the Becks, the O'Reillys, and the rest of those shitheads. So, I eventually gave up on that idea.
I used to be someone who voted democrat straight down the ticket, because this is what I was taught. But, as I began to understand politics, particularly local politics, I realized that this was just a waste of my vote.

I concede that national politics and local politics are somewhat different in partisan policies. But, I still feel the general principal is the same. I know some asshole black folk that deserve to be put on a island with no food. All skin folk ain't kinfolk, we know this.

However, when it comes to politics, we lose all reasoning and logic. How can a sensible black person vote all Republican and not acknowledge that many of the party members are racist?? How can a sensible black person vote all democrat and not acknowledge that some of its party members are horrible business people and can not run a city, county, state, ect?

In the 2020 election, it was in black people's best interest to vote against Trump who was republican. But, can I say that it will be in our best interest to vote democrat in 2024? No. Because I have yet to see what has unfolded for my people.

You know sometimes you make sense and sometimes you sound like you’re full of shit I am going to leave at that.

It absolutely does. What are you even doing in a thread about politics if you think EOs don't matter. Don't be silly, now.

Whoever comes next will wipe that clean after Biden.

This isn't the argument. This is a strawman. We're talking about Trump's "legacy". Trump wasn't able to wipe Obama's legacy clean so there is no guarantee that the next President will be able to do the next to Biden. However, we know it's going to happen to Trump for most of his "accomplishments" because he was a one-term POTUS that generally ruled by EO. However, you just said EOs don't matter. What are you even doing in this thread?

Judicial appointments are lifetime, SC seats will be 30 years,

I covered this in the first post and apparently, you didn't know what Judicial Branch meant???

that tax cut is forever.

There are no such things as "forever" laws anyway.. especially with tax laws. You're showing how you rudimentary don't understand this stuff.

Trump's tax cuts expire in 2025 https://www.investopedia.com/taxes/trumps-tax-reform-plan-explained/

The highest earners were expected to benefit most from the law, while the lowest earners were believed to pay more in taxes once most individual tax provisions expire after 2025.

Negro, you've read this entire thread and haven't figured out that I know what the fuck I'm talking about. Are you TRUMP CRAZY or what?

Read the entire article and you'll notice "EXPIRES IN 2025" after every provision.

All that will mean more to you life than anything Biden does in the next 4 years, while begging McConnell for crumbs. So tell me won again? Trump. Well at least till he goes to jail, I hope.

You write too much when you need to be reading. I already covered that.

Not really. They'll likely hold the Senate and they trimmed the margins in the House. The EC and senate seating gives disproportionate power to rural white voters. They're picking up non-whites too. This notion that the GOP's demise is always around the corner is fool's gold. White Supremacy is at the core of this country's soul... we're a long way away from the GOP being irrelevant. Don't be surprised if they win back the House in 2022 if the dems won't pick up those seats in Georgia. Mitch is going to neuter any progressive nominees and agenda and it's going to cause real problems in the Dem party. Everything depends on winning in Georgia. Otherwise, the only things that will get passed are what Mitch wants to get passed.

She's able to formulate a dem response to stuff that takes place in the Senate or WH. Dems would have caved during the shutdown without Nancy and Trump would have been bringing us to the brink of a shutdown every other month had she given in.
I’m sorry but that’s one story. Wasn’t Nancy on the phone with Spit-Lip Steve until 2 Fridays ago thinking there was a deal for a second stimulus?
