Joe Biden is now POTUS

We unfortunately disagree with your main premise. Motives do not matter. A fact is still a fact even if my enemy is the one to reveal it to me. I may not like it, but it still remains a fact.

Trumo having his super spreader events are irresponsible as well. I have always said this. Faux News never said this nor has his surrogates.

However, gathering in the street to celebrate Bidens victory is just as wrong. Both VNN and Faux News acknowledges this.

Wrong is wrong and right is right no matter who tells it.

Nope. We're going to be going through this when Biden takes office. If we don't get the Senate, should Biden appoint acting heads, it will be a fact he is not supposed to do that to get around Congress, but when the GOP attacks him on it, it won't be because they are acting in good faith, it will because they are trying to obstruct and have their way.

When they start whining about the deficit and what we can and can't pay for, it's a generally accepted fact that deficits are bad, but their opposition isn't because they are being fiscally responsible, it's because they want to obstruct.

Should the Biden admin get a subpoena he refuses to comply with, and Lindsey Graham has promised investigations galore, it's true the administration should comply, but any opposition from the GOP should he not, isn't because they want to uphold the rule of law or that they respect checks and balances.

You have GOP gaslighting down pat. We've had 4 years of Trumpian precedent about how concerned they are about certain things though, including large gatherings and masks, so it's not going to work.

I'm sorry that you feel that accepting the truth is gaslighting. I do not want you to question your sanity as gaslighting suggests. I want you to challenge what you have been taught and lead to believe. Every other week there is usually something that challenges my frame of mind. It is the person who believes that they know everything and refuse to acknowledge they do not know everything that is the most dangerous to our people. The person who remains closed to listening to new ideas or contrary ideas is even more dangerous.

I do not know everything and I accept that. But, I also have learned to accept that even those I hate or dispose, usually have at least one point that I agree with. I still hat them and wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire, but I still acknowledge truth even if it comes from them. As a senior executive this is trait that is paramount to success and it took a while for me to get here.

Same way they did in 2016.

Oh so that's why these idiots are out here mad that newspapers are showing Biden as the winner. They only made a mistake once with the President Elect right?

Listen trump set the Republican party back a little bit and this is going to really show up during the next election because the white population in this country is dropping like a rock you could tell that by what’s going on in Georgia. Eventually the Republicans are going to have to modernize somethings about their party if they want to include more people because their 50+ Y.o. white base is dying off fast

Not really. They'll likely hold the Senate and they trimmed the margins in the House. The EC and senate seating gives disproportionate power to rural white voters. They're picking up non-whites too. This notion that the GOP's demise is always around the corner is fool's gold. White Supremacy is at the core of this country's soul... we're a long way away from the GOP being irrelevant. Don't be surprised if they win back the House in 2022 if the dems won't pick up those seats in Georgia. Mitch is going to neuter any progressive nominees and agenda and it's going to cause real problems in the Dem party. Everything depends on winning in Georgia. Otherwise, the only things that will get passed are what Mitch wants to get passed.

Mortimer, your brothers having a heart attack! I think we should call an Ambulance! FUCK HIM! TURN THOSE MACHINES BACK ONNNNNNN

Joe Biden is planning to increase H-1B visa limit and remove country quota for green cards

<<<US President-elect Joe Biden plans to increase the number of high-skilled visas, including the H-1B, and eliminate the limit on employment-based visas by country, both of which are expected to benefit tens of thousands of Indian professionals impacted by some immigration policies of the outgoing Trump administration.

With Kamala Harris as his deputy, Biden is expected to reverse the move of the outgoing Trump administration to revoke work permits to the spouses of H-1B visas, which had adversely impacted a large number of Indian families in the United States.>>>

But Black people, especially under 30, are leaving the Dems as well. You can’t use BGOL as a gauge because it is mostly 50+ boomers so you won’t see that sentiment here.

Yea....but Ice cream cake!

it is much more simple that you are making it.

20% of black men voted to support white supremacy. let that sink in. that is all that needs to be understood.

Trump won 48% of Latinos in Florida and Nevada and the majority of Cubans in Florida but Black men are the problem... :smh:

“The overall fixation on Latinos is a scapegoat,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) said in an interview with POLITICO. “Because what's implicit in that is the assumption and the entitlement that a hundred percent of communities of color must turn out for Democrats and anything less is a failure while we just … allow us to lose vast majorities of white voters without any introspection.”

I'm right with you Easy. Republicans used to be more right than wrong on economic issues, especially regarding scrapping this miserable tax code. So when a candidate would come along that seemed sane, I would occasionally vote that way, since I truly believe that we need a pro-black presence in both parties. Plus, there were some Republicans on the national stage back then who were admirable, and forward thinking, and genuinely interested in reaching out to everyone, people like General Powell and the late Jack Kemp, both of whom I could have supported for president with no hesitation. But, that sick, racist, white supremacist streak that runs through the heart and soul of that party just seemed to override any decency I could find. For every Jack Kemp, there was a Newt Gingrich and a Pat Buchanan. For every Colin Powell, there was a Mitch McConnell and a Dick Cheney. Not to mention the Limbaughs, the Hannitys, the Becks, the O'Reillys, and the rest of those shitheads. So, I eventually gave up on that idea.

One great thing for dems is that Trump was the laziest POTUS ever. So even when he controlled both chambers, he wasn't interested in passing laws (except for taxes).. so he did EOs on many things he could have passed through Congress and made LAW. He wanted to do EOs because the fast-pace made the Trumpanzees feel like he was accomplishing so much. He was lazy though and didn't want to do the work. Besides the judicial branch work and then some immigration shit that Miller really fucked up, Biden will be able wipe out much of Trump's "legacy" within the first month with just Executive Orders undoing Trump's EOs.

I don’t think it was laziness. It was his basic lack of interest in Civics and they were concerned about the Supreme Court.

One really has nothing to do with the other. Nancy has zero impact on Mitch...none.

She's able to formulate a dem response to stuff that takes place in the Senate or WH. Dems would have caved during the shutdown without Nancy and Trump would have been bringing us to the brink of a shutdown every other month had she given in.

So what you guys plan to do, complain every day and keep saying don't vote?

That is a terrible take man. 275 judges and 3 SC seats, and his tax law are legacy changes. No need to revise in joy of his removal. Learn his attack strategies, mimic them, just in a positive, non racist manner. Trump, and by proxy McConnell, gave the Democrats that work in only 4 years.
