Forget bout .380. Finding that requires more than a miracle
I have a few boxes and using them very sparingly. I haven't taken my Makarov to the range in a while because of the .380 shortage. One day I went to Stoddard's gun range in Atlanta, and bought three or four boxes of Federal rounds, went back 2 days later to get a couple of boxes for my boy, and they were out.

Now that I think about it, 9mm ammo has been in short supply for about 5 or 6 years now. I remember some gun stores putting a limit on how much you can buy as early as 2014. I also remember people buying 9mm rounds, and selling them online at an inflated price.

That may be regional thing. I aint never had problems getting 9mm or any other ammo. I was ordering bulk online and picking shit up at the shop regularly with no limits. My local shop that I go to still has reasonable prices but 9mm and 380 (that I do find this ammo a little easier) is legend.

I didn't have any problems getting 9mm or .223/5.56 til around July/August. That's when they started limiting how many you can buy at a time. Now only way to get some is either get wallet raped or get 1 box at a decent price with the purchase of a firearm of the same caliber.

Nah Bro, not here in FL. $11.99 per 50 round boxes of .9mm WWB, Armscor, Lawman, S&B, etc. were plentiful for years. Let's not even talk about $6.99 boxes of Wolf steel case.

*** Note- Just to be clear, this was pre-covid prices and availability. The pickings are slim and when you find .9mm, prices are .60-.90 cents per round.

Bros, who have AK & AR pistols with braces need to check this video out ASAP. Nobody is sure that this will happen, but the BATF&E are on their bullshit again.
*** Be forewarned there is some anti Biden/pro trump bullshit sprinkled about, but it shouldn't stop one from heeding the warning of possible ATF rulings on pistol braces.

Man...these guys are always talking that bs. Just a bunch of right wing white supremacist.

I'm always shocked when I DON'T see that bullshit.

In most cases I would agree with you, however the ATF recently sent Q a C&D for their Honey Badger pistol. It was calling for them to immediately stop sales and to force owners to register them as SBR's. There is a temporary stay, the final decision is pending. The ATF has a history of overturning decisions, again we will see.

I'm looking for options for where and how to carry in my car without doing any drilling. My goal would be to have 2 pistols on me whenever I'm in my car where one would be on my hip and the other would be in a hidden area that I can quickly access if I need to. I'd prefer not to do any drilling as I don't want to make any permanent mods to my Acura.

I like the Alien Gear option but don't wanna do any drilling. I did see on their site that they have an hook and loop option where an adhesive would be placed on the desired location and then a holster would sit on it via velcro. I'd probably use that to keep the firearm ready while driving in open carry areas and have a magnet in my glovebox to store it whenever I need it concealed. I thought about the magnet under the wheel but the thought of the gun flying off the magnet due a sudden unexpected hard stop or accident has me thinking otherwise. At least if it's on the velcro holster, it's still within a holster.

Not much thought put into this list. Take the most popular handguns from the last 3 or 4 years, and make a 1-10 list. For the shits and giggles I watched the entire video. These fools lost their mind, with the 1911 (heavy, limited magazine capacity far removes it from my home defense list) and the Ruger Security 9 (not that it's a bad pistol, but the trigger and sights suck). For the price point it is honestly not bad. There are far worse choices out there if you are looking for a sub $300. pistol. I would have taken their honorable mention (FN 509) and nixed the 1911 and the Beretta 92.

Would you add the Canik TP9SFX or TP9 Elite SC to the list?
