I HOPE this teaches other professional UFC fighters to leave with their head held high, when making a moral decision like Khabib did. It is not talked nor bragged about (mainly b/c of his character, his religious background) BUT Khabib ALREADY comes from a wealthy family. For his extensive large fan base, this will also ultimately teach youths globally.

GSP would have a chance but I wouldn't pick him. He used his wrestling to dominate opponents particularly after Matt Serra knocked him out. He can't dominate Khabib on the ground if he could take him down and get him there in the first place. And we saw Khabib stand up with Connor successfully so he'd have the advantage there as well.

Agreed. I live in Canada & attended a number of house parties & sports bars for GSP ppvs. The number of 5-round fights over the years had fans nervous, even in fights he was clearly ahead in. We wanted to see him assert his dominance and get people out of there much sooner. Some of those opponents were definitely too tough for their own good (Fitch, Koscheck, Alves, Hardy).

I liked how he addressed Justin in English too. He has much more respect for guys like Gaethje and Poirier than he ever will for scumbags like McGregor. He doesn’t want to validate that guy with another massive payday. The ill will ain’t worth it.

Agreed. I really want to see Jones-Miocic too. Especially with Stipe in his late-30s now. We’re lucky we got the DC-Stipe trilogy over the course of 2 years later in their careers. Interesting results in those fights.
