You know how these things go sometimes. When we expect shit to be one way it goes the other. If Denver's gonna win a game it maybe game 2.they will be ready alright.
ready to lose.

I do believe that Lebron’s right, especially about the Gasol situation.
And if they were awarding narratives, Lebron would’ve won it this year.
If we look at the numbers, Giannis had better numbers and his team had a better record in the regular season.
I think Giannis won it off the narrative that the people voting were a lot of the same people who were saying all year the Bucks are coming out of the East.I do believe that Lebron’s right, especially about the Gasol situation.

As much as I hate it, you really can't go far in the playoffs with only one legit star. Until they get Giannis a costar who can get his buckets, teams will continue to build a wall. I didn't see the Bucks getting pass Miami, Toronto, or Boston. All three of those teams have coaches and the personnel to build a wall and stop the Bucks over a 7 game series. It was just a matter of who they ran into first.
If it was a “Narrative”, I believe Lebron should’ve won.
His 17th year in the league, still putting up astounding numbers and leading his team in the West with the best record.
Now let’s look at the numbers.
Giannis: 29.6 ppg 13.6 rpg 5.6 apg
Lebron: 25.3 ppg 7.8 rpg 10.2 apg
In my opinion Giannis had better numbers.
Its called most valuable player. Not most better numbers player. Lebron has more responsibility on his team than Yannis.. And how can we continue to speak on better numbers while ignoring assists? The valuable conservation should be about that players worth and the teams performance with and without the player statistically. Also should consider head to head and competition played against since the "weak east" argument was used against LeBron for years. Those things factored and Lebron is absolutely MVP. And under NO circumstance should he have gotten only 16 first place votes against Yannis 90 or so. Foh.I do believe that Lebron’s right, especially about the Gasol situation.

Now its about better numbers? This is what Lebron means by "narrative". Hes referring to the ever moving goalpost and reasons used to determine MVP.If it was a “Narrative”, I believe Lebron should’ve won.

As for better numbers determining MVP....
2014
Steph: 23 ppg 4 rbg 6 apg
Bron: 26 ppg 7 rpg 7 apg

I didnt add narrative. I showed you how "best numbers" was the latest narrative being used to determine most valuable. If its a pure numbers game then give it to Harden every year. Im saying use your brain and actually determine value thru statistical data and objective observation. Not just boxscore coutning. Thats lazy and kinda stupid. The only way one could say Lebron should’ve won is to add narratives, like you did.

Start by removing each player from their respective teams and analyze performance. Lebron is clearly more valuable to his teams efforts. And to those pointing at AD as a devaluation point... i ask them to show me AD's resume the last 7 years without Lebron. Hes a lottery team guy who barely wins half his games.
What do you think valuable means? So now to determine the MVP we have to visualize that player not playing for that team?![]()
What do you think valuable means?
But you dont have to "visualize" anything. You can actually just WATCH THE FUCKING GAMES!! They actually keep stats of this shit too!!!![]()
Nah.... Same coach used same system and had lesser team as #1 seed in "weak east" with Al fucking Hortford as the go to guy.. You niggas would be dangerous if you actually followed basketball. If you look at the stats, you’d see who had to do more to contribute to their team winning.
Imagine that!
Giannis has to score 30 points, grab 13 rebounds and get 5 assists a fucking game just to get those fuckers the best record in the league!
That’s gotta be hard, and they actually keep stats of all the things he has to do to get them the best record in the league two years in a row!
If he wasn’t there, I couldn’t even imagine or visualize how bad they’d be!![]()

Further, the team performs at pace when Giannis sits. Budenhauser is a dam good regular season coach and maintains win pace with and without Yannis and thats what allows him to manage his minutes thru the season and allows him sit and play only 30 minutes many nites.
The Lakers conversely are far more dependent on Lebron to a far higher degree. When he sits leads vanish and ball movement stalls. Hes forced to facilitate and lead team in minutes most nites and carries more responsibilitiy than any player in the league. This is factual and backed by the numbers.
Agreed. But thats why they have a separate award for that. And again, when he sits the team continues to perform at a similar level. Also Giannis was DPOY, so defensively he was their defensive anchor to limit or stop the other team from scoring.
That’s a huge responsibility and shows how valuable he is to the team. Without his defensive presence, teams attack the basket and score.
Well, this is going as expected.
