Jealous CAC POS that would love to have some of her attention, but she wouldn't touch that ugly weirdo with a 10 foot bratwurst. Just trying to discredit the beautiful talented sista.

Par for the course with a lot of CAC men.

wtf
bare shoulders are an issue in 2020? He compared her to a pornstar for showing her shoulders?

is it cause maria is a black woman or woman
i am always astonished by how many men really fucking hate women

how soon before we get apology where he mentions his religion, his daughters/wife, his black friends, all the ppl that know whats really in his heart and sincere apology to all the ppl he might have offended (without mentioning Maria)
I was seriously trying to figure out if I missed something, or if that pic wasn't what she had on. I was expecting something at least semi-provocative, but that outfit is conservative as hell. Unless you have a shoulder fetish or something.

And even if, dude failed for going straight to the porn reference. But this isn't the first time I've heard shit like this. I didn't know it for a good, long while, but apparently a lot of these sexist-ass sexist really do think a smile or a little exposed skin makes you a whore. I guess that's why they stay failing.

Dan Bernstein apologizes for sexist comment: 'I'm an idiot'
By PHIL THOMPSON

WSCR-AM 670 sports radio jock Dan Bernstein apologized Thursday for sexist remarks he made Wednesday night about Comcast SportsNet Chicago reporter Aiyana Cristal.
"I'm an idiot," Bernstein said Thursday afternoon on "The Boers and Bernstein Show." "There are certain times when you can be childish and crass and there are other times when it's just really stupid to be a child. My tweet was childish, my tweet was crass and unnecessary and I'm sorry I dragged an innocent person into it who's doing a job and I made an observation I shouldn't have made, and it was childish and silly and stupid."
Later, he added: "My words are my responsibility and my words were stupid. And there's nobody else to blame for any difficulties that I might be going through because of my stupidity. It's entirely on me. And I own it. And I wish I would've had a second thought about sending it, and I'm learning my lesson about what is appropriate, what is inappropriate to say, and I feel bad about it."

Bernstein referenced the broadcaster's physique during a Twitter conversation with Matt Spiegel , another host at The Score.

Speigel tweeted, "Aiyana Cristal makes me uncomfortable. I feel how she's trying, & end up awkwardly rooting for her to finish cleanly." Bernstein replied: "I have no rooting interest in her work, but I enjoy her giant boobs."

Spiegel continued the conversation and Bernstein used the word twice more in his responses despite backlash from other users, some calling him "disgusting" in their replies.

Spiegel apologized for his role in the exchange through his Twitter account: "My initial tweet was about a reporter's on air presence & work. I stand by that; fair game. I regret the exchange thereafter as it devolved."

He apologized again Thursday afternoon during an on-air conversation with Bernstein, as Spiegel's show was signing off and Bernstein's program was beginning. Spiegel told listeners that he regretted the negative attention Cristal's likely receiving.

Bernstein received rebukes from several corners of the news media world and on social media after his tweets went viral.

The Association for Women in Sports Media said in a statement that it "condemns any comments that address a person’s appearance rather than her work, and there is no question that his comments did exactly that. We applaud his colleague Matt Spiegel for publicly apologizing for his role in the incident, and have reached out to The Score to express our concern and hope that Bernstein will do the same and learn from the experience."

A statement from Comcast SportsNet called the situation "disappointing and unfortunate." The network also asked for for "sincere and direct apologies" on behalf of Cristal, "and that WSCR uses this occurrence and their influence to positively impact the level of respect paid to women in sports media.”
ESPN's Michelle Beadle, known among her Twitter followers for taking on sexism in sports, mockingly noted that she enjoyed the Chicago radio men's "played out, misogynistic, knuckle-dragging brains." She included the hashtag "#BeBetterBoys."

The National Association of Black Jounalists' Sports Task Force tweeted their support for Cristal and vowed to "investigate further."

Bernstein has included the slang word for women's breasts in past tweets and in at least one column posted on CBS Chicago's website.

What a weird thing to say about an outfit that is pretty conservative by today's standards...had to read the whole thread before I was convinced that it was the outfit in question...dude sounds mental...bare shoulders got him tripping like that?...or maybe its something else

The thing that makes it worse is this guy has had previous run-ins and suspensions in his past and still managed to get rehired. This stint was his third at the SCORE and hopefully his last.
Oh I didn’t know

"
At one point in negotiations with NBA Finals host and College Football national championship sideline reporter Maria Taylor, ESPN offered her a raise from her current salary of nearly $1 million per year that would eventually reach almost $5 million, according to sources.

Taylor turned it down.

Taylor, sources said, was hoping to be in the “Stephen A. Smith money” neighborhood, which is near $8 million annually.
....
(Basically Disney and ESPN have eased back other salary offers and have asked on air talent to take pay cuts.)

Today, ESPN wants to keep Taylor, but the initial offer is not on the table, according to sources. What she is being offered right now is not known, but it is believed to be in the $2 million-$3 million range."

If true?

She had horrible advisors

She seen what happened with the previous lay offs

What happened to Mike and Jemele

She should have taken that very strong offer and waited to potentially renegotiate

She thought she was gonna get more that Bomani?

And quiet is kept the work SAS like a damn pack mule for every cent of that money.

Allegedly she wants to be the next Robin Roberts and wanted to work between daytime ABC and sports.....

However she would need to do more than to get to SAS' level.....they got that mfkr on podcasts and like 4 different shows....

She went in a few times on racism in America, she ain't getting 5 million from white folks and being able to say those things, ESPN knows all of this.

I remember a few folk clowned Stephen A over that deal cause he basically on call 24/7

It's great he deserves it but the making sure they get their money's worth.

But greeny making about the same and doesn't do all that stuff

Get as much money as you can... And be prepared to walk if numbers don't add up.

I agree that's why she should have taken that initial offer.

They ain't and honestly nobody else is giving out those numbers like that anymore at least at the sports outlets options available.

To be fair Jemele and Mike and bomani got big deals and they spoke out way before it was fashionable and safe.

Some actually used this pandemic time to solidify their position like Mina, Elle and Chiney.

Hell Bomani was super vocal and reupped. For more.
