My advice comes from experience. If you wanna recover AND be able to perform at a high physical level then you need to do the following.
1.Sleep..at least 7-9 per night til you hook up
2.Eat light meals each day
3.No Alcohol,No sodas,No tea with added sugar,no coffee with added sugar...Sugar has a very bad effect on you sexually
4.Drink Water
5.No masterbation,No porn
6.No strenous work or stress

follow those 6 and you will be refreshed and all your hormone levels will be back to normal and you will be able to perform worry free that you will not be able to get up and stay up.
