Amazon's Jeff Bezos made 13 Billion dollars in one fucking day

Exactly... don't worry about the past, just try to find the next Amazon to invest in..
Man I wish I would have bought stock in Amazon years ago or thought of coming up with Amazon. The thing is somebody is going to come up with a business better than Amazon one day.
I would value amazon as a 3800-4k company. buy now and you can still make good bread

Nah man
At this point he has so much money that he can't spend while people are dying of hunger. It isn't right
uh, bezos pledged 2 BILLION to a charity to combat homelessness and education programs. you know that, right?

I feel the same as I did in the other thread about him.

He has the right to make that money.

The government don't do shit for us because they DONT' WANT TO DO SHIT FOR US.

If they made school free and health care free then nobody would be in the military and that's how they make their money.

HOWEVER

That doesnt' mean I can't judge HIM for not doing shit to help people.

HE could do something with today's earnings that would save millions of lives... just today.

He could spend 100 billion dollars to help the world and still have 89 billion more dollars.

So at this point its EVIL
if you have every incentive to help. Every resource to help and you don't?

That's what it is.

I'm not a pocket watcher.
But pledging 2 billion--- meaning you not cutting the check now... when you make 13 billion in 1 day don't add up lol.

Also
Why the fuck do rich people start foundations for people to give money to them so they can help poor people?

If jeff was black would people be mad that he made so much in a day?

He is the middle man to products.. Want to try to upgrade your money ? Make yourself valuable to others and figure how to make yourself marketable.. There's money in being the go to guy or being a connector... He fig out a way (even though everything wasn't with positive moral clauses).. Don't like him making money stop ordering shit..most of you won't and the world continues to turn

So glad I own shares in all three.

Of the $62,000 I lost at the start of COVID I got $53,000 back and it's still growing.

Yup my financial advisor brought me shares of Amazon. They were 1500 a share, the last time I checked they’re up to 3000 a share, that shit doubled my money.

I would be MORE UPSET if he were black
I'd like to think if one of us had the chance to financially save all of us they'd do that shit without question.

I don't really care about Bezos at all to be honest, just the determination of evil for not helping as much as he could

And the arguments fly out the window if you make 13 billion dollars in 1 day lol

I would feel the same way about him if he was black, chinese, indian, samoan, whatever. And I have purchased a total of 6 items in the history of my amazon account with the most recent one being 6+ years ago before I was aware of his business practices and the way he treats his employees

Not a fan of some of his employee treatment and pay rates.. But as far as service nobody is forced to use it they just do.. It's like a burger place, you don't have to eat there, there's other options or you can go home and cook... Amazon made that much because of the people.. So the people that are mad are 9 out of 10 the contributors to his wealth... To make that much obviously means he has a big consumer base and obviously mean they believe his service is worth it.. So if people are really mad stop using his service.. You can buy that tech from another site or go to the store and get it... They won't they will continue to contribute to his wealth

cool so you part of the less than 10 percent of this board that doesn't use his service anymore

Tomorrow somebody will post a piece of tech on sale from Amazon and all the people who was mad he made 13 billion today will order that tech tomorrow.. And the earth will continue to spin

That's the kind of money that would cover rents/mortgages and put food on the table for months when you're out of work thanks to COVID.

Like Pac said, for one person to have that much money, millions are doing without basic necessities.

“They got money for wars but can’t feed the poor”

BGOL MISERY CLUB in full effect as usual whenever a thread is made about anyone with money.....

Riddle me this BMC members....what are you doing to help the less fortunate with YOUR money?
Since you're so altruistic when talking about what someone should do with theirs....

So you don’t think the wealth gap and the calcification of wealth is a real thing and something to be concerned about?

I maintain I got no issue with how he makes the money
like i said though if he was a black man and had this type of wealth and didn't help black people
i would be more upset.

I'm not even upset at bezos

I always give money to the less fortunate. Bailed a young nigra out at the auction today.... I like to think I'm that dude. The point you're missing knuckle head is that we " need" our money to survive. He could stop where he is now and live comfortably for the next 3000yrs. Dummy.

Who's to say how much is enough.

thank you... everybody can do something

is it really 13 tho ...?
Not really, just stock paper

He's about to have Nancy Pelosi and Mitch McConnell split 10 million then make another 10 billion. Smh

Maybe in the form of an underground delivery service for small items. Shoo, if you can pipe water; pipe products. lol That's where Tesla comes in. Maybe for new developments only.

The crazy part about this is that the 13 Billy is from stock. This isn’t liquid cash. He can lose that money in a day just like he lost it

Peeps are also discounting how many people Amazon has helped
peeps are starving & this mf playing games with rice
God damn you niggas are getting angry just for the sake of getting angry :smh:
Homie said he donated the rice

Who's to say how much is enough.
There is a point at which it becomes trivial to make this argument.

If we get to a point as a society that having X billion dollars isn't enough to live, do you think X+1 is gonna do it? Or 2X, even? Things will be so utterly fucked up that money will be irrelevant.

The word billion itself is trivializing things, because a lot of people (and I mean more than you would think) don't even understand how much money that is. A billion is a thousand million. And while I get innovation and industry and generational wealth transference, you will never convince me that anyone on this planet has done enough to say that they have earned that amount of wealth.

I get just as sick of some of you extreme leftists as I do of these crazy alt-right assholes.
There is nothing more annoying than a pocket watcher, except for maybe a dick watcher.
You want more? Do better. One of the more positive things about the U.S. is opportunity. You really can start from nothing and come up big time.

My problem with Bezos is not how much money he makes but the fact that his company and other companies with huge market shares DON'T PAY TAXES ON THAT MONEY. That is the big problem.
If they got taxed like the people do, I'd have no problems with it.
You want to live in a communist country where things seem more "fair"? Step.
The grass ain't greener on the other side. The world isn't fair and never will be.
The best you can do is do your part to change things in a positive way.
