OMG!! Star Wars: The Clone Wars Animated Series Returns ... (2019)!!!! First Look

So these clowns dropping this shit weekly instead of binge mode? Good. I just started the Clone wars and am on the second season. Gives me time to catch up and then I can binge this season.

I'm still in awe of that bounty hunter with the cowboy hat. He's badass. This is a good series.

The reason Disney doing 1 episode a week instead of all at once like Netflix is because they don't want people to cancel the service after they finish watching it. Disney knows if they release all the episodes at once folks will cancel the service until the next show comes out. Once clone wars is over I'm gonna cancel the service until the rest of the new shows come out.

Same here.

I ordered Disney around Xmas after they uploaded the last episode of Mandalorian.

My subscription ended in late January and I renewed it for one month to watch the first 6 seasons of Clone Wars which I finished last week.

I had planned on waiting until May to reorder before watching the episodes, but temptation got me to watch the first episode of Season 7.

It was a good episode, but I was pissed cuz I wanted more. I'm just gonna wait until after May 8th when the last episode debuts to binge watch it.

Then cancel it and reorder after Falcon and Winter Soldier finishes up and continue that for future shows/movies.

Yeah Cad Bane was one of my favorite characters.

I'd believe you. Just seen that chick told the Jedi Council to go fuck itself after they didn't stand up for her. I swear, this series got me to not like those dumb asses on the Jedi council. I see why Anakin was so prime for the picking.

And damn at the senator putting on the hoodie to go at Maul and his brother.

How in the fuck do they do those 3 shit movies when this animated series was so good?

much more time to tell the story
and
Lucas had better collaborators to assist with story writing

If they wanted a female lead in the final trilogy, they should have gotten Ahsoka to be it.

She would have been a full grown adult and experienced enough in the Force to go up against Snope, Kylo and Sidious.

Plus ol’ gurl was no joke in using two light sabers at once. It would have been nice to see her in live action.

I'am tempted now to start watching, but I'll hold out until May.

Self Control!

HaHa!

Also, there is rumors going around that this series will end showing and giving us detailed info on the Purge of Mandalore.

This is the Final Trailer for Season 7.

I'm tempted to order Disney+ after watching this mofo, but I can hold out until May 8th after the Series Finale.

They getting closer to the Surge of Mandalore.

:D

Ahsoka ... :bravo:

man the last 3 eps been fire ....

Ahsoka needs her own series after this....

check the trap if u dont have Disney ...:money:

I agree Slam these last couple of episodes have been great. They have connected the Revenge of the Sith perfectly. I can't wait until Monday when the last episode comes out. I just wished there were more episodes and a little bit longer. These last couple of episodes are greater than the last 3 Star Wars movies Disney have put out. Also the fight between Maul and Ahsoka was motion captured using Ray Park aka Darth Maul

My wife's cousin has Disney+.They ordered it for one year when it debuted for their son who is the only child they have still living at home.

He has showed no interest in anything on Disney+ and has watched it only once since they ordered it. They have no interest in it either.

She offered the remainder of subscription to us and I gladly accepted. My wife and kids ain't interested in it, only me.

I'am gonna start binging it tomorrow and and lead into the series finale this Friday.

Only thing i dislike about this series are the filler episodes in which a main character has lame side adventures with some scammer or backstabber .The last 3 or 4 episodes have been fire !!!!

yeah the shit with the 2 sisters was ehh....

after tht tho ... :bravo:

ep 12 was intense.... :eek2:

man i hope they continue her story ...Maul`s also...

sittin thru those earlier eps was worth it for this payoff....

I watched and finished Season 7 last night.

Great Series Finale.

If you have not seen it, don't read ahead cuz its all spoilers.

The Season is only 12 episodes unlike past seasons which averaged I believe 22 episodes. That is more than enough to get the story completed.

The first 3 episodes brought back the major characters from Seasons 1-6. Anakin looked different from the first 6 seasons and his hair is styled the way we saw in Episode 3 Revenge of The Sith.

The first 4 episodes introduced us to the Clone Troopers Bad Batch and we saw how they operate and work together. Hope we see more of them in future Star Wars projects, especially live action.

Episodes 5 thru 8 brings back Ahsoka. She is dealing with the fallout of leaving the Jedi Order thru these episodes and going thru shit contemplating on her future. It may come off that these are filler episodes, but they are the way they are because they fall in line with how Ahsoka was portrayed in Star Wars Rebels and gives you insight on what to expect from her in season 2 of Mandalorian.

Darth Maul is brought back in Episode 8 following the directive of Sidious when he confronted him in Season 5. Darth Maul plays a major role going forward in events leading up to the Purge of Mandalore. The events of the Purge was not shown in this season.

The last 4 episodes of the Series is what makes it classic. They changed the opening logo and theme music to reference the Sith takeover. The episodes play out like a movie the way they filmed them.

The last 4 episodes begin to coincide with Episode 3. The Emperor seizes control of the Republic in Episode 11. We see Maul in custody and he senses and hears the confrontation between Mace Windu and Palpatine from the scene we saw in Episode 3 when Palpatine revealed himself.

Soon after that, Order 66 is executed and the Clones switch immediately and follow their programmed directive. We see how Commander Rex managed to fight the order and get the chip removed from his head as he explained in Star Wars Rebels.

The last episode is all action and suspense with Ahsoka and Rex trying to get the fuck out of dodge. One thing I noticed that we didn't see in Episode 3 was how ruthless and more lethal and accurate in the Clone Troopers behavior and fight skills. They came off more like Special Operations. It's obvious that chip must have kicked up their level in military operations.

And the last scene.....You know ol' boy gots to show up.

Darth Vader made his intro. He showed up at the crash site where Ahsoka and Rex had buried the dead clone troopers. It was a solemn scene and showed that the Darkside was not fully engulfed with Anakin. We also saw the bird that makes its presence in a number of episodes of Star Wars Rebels.

This season tied together a lot of events we saw in the prequels, Star Wars Rebels and Solo.

A lot of other things happened in the season but I'am not gonna get into it right now.

I'm gonna rewatch this season again to able to fully soak it all in.

I highly recommend watching this season and Star Wars Rebels before season 2 of the Mandalorian returns this Fall.

Ahsoka's and Maul's story continues in Star Wars Rebels.

Rebels is part of the continuity of the series and movies. It fits between "Solo" and "Rogue One".

The episodes they are in are some of the best in the series. Yeah there are some childish moments thru-out the series, that's because it was on DisneyXD and they had to appeal to 7 year olds. But a large majority of the episodes are deep, especially seasons 3 and 4. It's must see.

If you have not seen that series, it is definitely a must watch.

And when you finished watching it, you gonna be scratching your head trying to figure out why Ahsoka or Ezra were not the ones to confront Snopes, Kylo and Sidious instead of Rey. I believe Ahsoka must be dead because we heard her voice in Episode 9 when Rey was knocked out along with the voices of all the other Jedi we have seen. The only Jedi voice we did not here was Ezra's.

I assume we will find out in season 2 of the Mandalorian.

Ahsoka would have put a ass whooping on all three at the same time.

The "bad batch" are among the elite of the clone troopers. Similar to the Arc Troopers, which are small squadrons used in the most dangerous missions with a high success rate. Loved seeing them in action alongside Captain Rex. I don't get some of the mindless bitchin referring to episodes 1-8 "filler" when it was doing a great job conveying Ahsoka's journey after she left the Jedi Order. Ahsoka and Captain Rex make a hell of team out maneuvering the clone squadron in the finale.

Unlike the prequel and sequel trilogies, David Filoni never disappoints with storyline and action.

been hip bro ...put all eps in the trap when they 1st aired ...now u know this BGOL...lol

but i do need to rewatch all seasons now tho ...

That was my thought process... I keep trying with Rebels. But Ezra is just fucking annoying. I understand Rebels was tailored to children, and therefore the goofy/funny character has to be there. But anytime something interesting happens here he is to ruin the moment. I cant get through more than a couple episodes before Im disgusted.
