One of my favorite episodes of this season was Boss Fight. It was a double entendre for Marty's desire to win.
As a child, he watched another kid struggle to beat an arcade game in the hospital. The other kid kept losing to the boss level, so one day he came with a pack a quarters. At this point, as a young kid, Marty seen that the one way to win in life was to trust the numbers and most of all trust in money.
As an adult, Marty is playing a different kind of game. While being held captive, He goes toe to toe with his Boss, Omar Navarro in Mexico. But not a physical fight... Navarro challenges Marty's character under direct pressure. When all the cartel accounts have been flagged, Navarro orders Marty to fix it. Marty then proves to his boss that he is the best at what he does unfreezing the accounts, making them legitimate right there on the spot. Inter cut with child Marty inserting coins, his determination to win is why he is so successful. As Navarro's goon drag him out of his office, Marty proclaimed "I'VE WON MOTHERFUCKER" as he may be the only person that has defeated his ruthless boss.
