You want to do away with the draft to keep players from going to shitty teams,

While that might work, one of the side effects is that it's going to keep players from going to any small market teams.

And you're going to create an even more top-heavy league.

While that might be true for some franchises

If you are a GM of a small-market team that has drafted a generational talent (AD, Greek Freak) how do you convince big time free agents to come to your team?

Was Del Demps ever going to convince Lebron to come to New Orleans to play with AD? (the very thought of that probably is making you laugh)

Any big-time, game-changing free agents trying to sign with Milwaukee?
I thought when PG re-signed with OKC that notion was beginning to change...

It seemed that players were thinking more along the lines of CHAMPIONSHIPS vs LIFESTYLE. But when these big markets and/or glamorous destination cities get to backing up uhaul trucks of dough to your front step it's hard to turn it away.

This is, why I hate the media. When the Cavs first acquired Love everyone was questioning him whether could he win games or not due to him not making the playoffs in Minnesota.

All of a sudden,it's he's accustom to winning....really.Are we just going to ignore his time in Minnesota.

And,let's be real about him when Lebron left last season Love aint even the best player on the team. It's been Sexton.

This is,why I don't understand why the stupid owner gave Mr. Talc a new contract....Especially, to a player that's always hurt.

(ETA) not making excuses for running a shitty franchise but talent or lack of it is more often the issue.

Unfortunately the small market teams don’t have the same lure as the larger market teams outside of that generational talent that was drafted. These guys are all young and rich. They want to be where the action is, basically a major city where they have a thriving night life, lots of women and an international airport.

I agree with you 100% and every nigga on BGOL would feel the same way if he was in their position and I'm not criticizing players for making their decisions but too many times you hear that a star wasted years in a small market or a small market being criticized for not putting talent around a player when in actuality it's just that the talent won't come.

A lot of the guys that get drafted to smal markets teams needed that time there for their development into the guys they are now in the league. They are forced to be the best player on the team as a teenager. Some step up and grow but most wither away.

IMO he doesn't have any trade value with his age and injury history.

Plus he hasn't played that great this year.

Thompson made sure to speak out in support of the coach and show it's Kevin Love.

The Heat get big leads then let teams come back.
Buckets with another triple double
Bam had 30 and a triple double
Duncan's Robinson with 34
Nunn with 36
Still undefeated at home.

Sure as fuck isn't money. Dan Gilbert is a lot of things, but cheap isn't one of them. With both Lebron's runs, Gilbert was willing to spend big on help. Where I think it failed with Lebron is Lebron not committing. Who wants to be stuck here without Lebron?

I think the same shit goes for other markets. If the generational talent doesn't commit, why the fuck would anyone sign there? To be in Kevin Love's position?

Also, some owners are cheap and shouldn't even own teams in markets outside LA and NYC. So an owner willing to spend and the main talent committing would be ideal. Have we seen that combination?

Joker didn't seem to want any parts of Embiid. Dude plays lazy as hell at times. :smh:

Meanwhile, fans shit on Sexton for no reason but gives Love a pass for calling out a rookie head coach..

I understand what you're saying but lets not act like the Knicks been good the last 15 years. They have 3 playoffs appearances in that time span and have an owner that clearly doesn't care about winning. If,it wasn't for the arena and city they play in they'll will be Sacramento Kings.

Love need to be traded now...The bench brought the team all the way back and took the lead. And,this piece of shit did everything in his power to fuck it up..

Dont let me say anything about Clarkson...my god..

:smh: :smh:

Good game @spider705
