That's one of my issues with Tone, always talking about he has the data. That's cool to have data BUT remember the phrase "lies, damned lies and statistics" and stop acting like you have the be all end all answer for everybody, because he doesn't.
And Yvette is on some ego bullshit. There was no need for her to attack Farrakhan, Boyce Watkins, Claude Anderson, Frances Cress Welsing, or any other Black person trying to push for entrepreneurship and dismantling the system of White supremacy. If she wants to focus on Government, do that, but don't make your name off of tearing folks down. I don't trust her AT ALL.
Both use class to make moves and make money, we all need to make money to survive and nothing is a issue with that. Truth is Tariq is right when he says ADOS is more of a political group and nothing is wrong with lining up the political road to make long term progress but remember BLM went away when they had a head Deray and they labeled it a terrorist group, ADOS can possibly go down that same path.
Also if you know anything about the Alt-Right when Richard Spencer took the head they went downhill fast, they were really causing issues behind the scenes with unknown racist making threats and killing people and blocking aid.
When it got a identity it died down quickly. Remember policitians are experts are self interaction with people, they know how to calm down anyone demanding anything, if ADOS isn't careful they'll end up with nothing and the head Tone and Yvette can use this movement to get into other areas, we've seen guys from nothing but a youtube account get big speaking gigs once the youtube went away. Some alt-right members still make money promoting hate in small towns (baked alaska) and Milo...
Tariq's point is valid, you don't want to put a head on it, let it be based of identity and lineage and demand changes like that, lose the title and the group and run the streets and if you feel the dems do nothing for you don't vote for them, it's not rocket science.
Tone and Yvette can easily end up in some democratic gig making money while their hardcore supporters go back to being broke, moms basement with no money or prospects, this is the real issue. Tariq's point is completely 100% true.
I see why most ya'll strong democrats and honestly I don't blame you, ya'll know this stuff well and refuse to get too close to it since ya'll get nothing but emotions and feelings into it. We're more capitalistic as black folks that most really think we are.
Anyways I'm falling back from ADOS for a bit, I support the message but I feel a massive let down is coming and I'm not gonna let ADOS do me like the dems do me, emotions, getting me riled up responsing to trolls all day wasting my time for nothing. I sense a payout and some hugs are coming for ADOS I don't ses the unity or cause here, just people who gonna end up cashing out at the end of the day and these dudes putting in work on twitter and facebook all day get nothing.
