Camille I very seldom use Facebook so they are new to me and I like them, I'll take a look at what you have when we get ready for the next phase which will be soon. - HNIC
 
I haven't read through this whole thread so forgive me if this has been asked before but as far as the alerts go, will we get the drop-down just by hovering the curser again? Or will we have to keep clicking on the bell icon?

You may have noticed that the BGOL Home page is blank. Well I'm working on the home page portal. It's probably a 1-2 day project. Here is a video showing the add-on and what we can expect when complete.

We have some great talent that will be writing articles for us. They will cover a wide range of topics. It's going to be fun. :)
 
Are signatures currently visible? I normally have mine off but I enabled them to check something, but I still don't see them.
 
I ain't feeling this shit a lot of dying members request was keep the porn on the main board. Change is good though!

Will the articles be strickly news or different topics like news,sports,games and etc.

And,when's the YouTube page coming out. I know you were talking about it,a few years ago.

@HNIC , good work so far. I really like the function to hover over threads to preview first post. That saves time and helps avoid some trash threads.

I only have one person on ignore, so I'm just asking.

If a person replies to a thread, the thread moves to the top of the board. What should the thread do, stay in 2 places, not bumped for the people who have him/her on ignore and bumped for everyone else. Help me understand

I know there is still a LOT of work to do but I see others are chiming in...

OK the search function isn't working for me (@fonzerrillii stop laughing)

can't find any of my threads.

And I finally see the issue about being logged out...

When I got knocked out which usually happens as I switch forums

I have to go click home and then click forum

sometimes it logs right on without me doing anything else.

The search is being re-indexed as we speak. Let me know what's up tomorrow. I waited until late tonight to run the index function.

playahaitian it's 7:50 am EST and the search is still indexing, it did stop last night when my screen saver cut on (I thought I had that bitch off :angry:), but it's running now, I'll make a post when it's finished.

yo chief @HNIC 2 factor auth not working. after I scan the QR code and enter the token to Verification code. I get

"The two-step verification value could not be confirmed. Please try again."

Tried with authy and google authenticator

In the short term, just make sure you all of your links and bookmarks take you to https://www.bgol.us instead of
I'm going to set it up so members are forced to use and see if that makes a difference, if that doesn't work I have a few other things I'll try. I will make a post here when I make the change. I have to get with suppoprt to make sure I'm doing it right.

Still too many clicks to navigate to a specific forum. Is there away to bring back the same capability?

Appreciate the speed of that came along with the new look. No more thread ratings is going to be significant culture change.

Once again, I really like the new look and features. Just patiently waiting on that dark theme.
