it was really slow...

i would probably give it a 6 ...

if they make a pt 2 i can c it being really dope....

it was mad cops at the movies too ...i guess they really thought some shit was gonna happen...

anybody else c this when they went ....?

I saw it Atlantic Station. If was an ok turnout. No cops though, probably on Friday and Saturday there will be. I honestly wanted them to tell more with the story seemed like there were some loose ends, but enjoyed it better than more than recent hero/villain movies. So happy it was rated R. I wish they would’ve showed him kill that girl he like and the doctor at the end. Joaquin did his thing :bravo:

Joker wasn’t as slow as Blade Runner 2049. Now, that movie was slow for no reason. I wanted to blow my own brains out 20 mins into that movie, regardless of how beautiful it was.

Or some slow shit that fizzled out at tbe end...
 
Movie was solid. I'd give it an 8/10. The concept of the movie was to display Arthur Fleck's slow decline into becoming the bloodthirsty maniac we all know as the Joker.

Dude was hurting for real until he embraced his crazy. Now the ppl of Gotham are hurting b/c of it.

I wonder if the next batman film ties in with this film. I hope it does.
 
So not only does this movie not look appealing to me but now they gonna have mass pigs at certain theaters and the shit it slow? I'm good I'll catch it at some point in the comfort of my own home...the most overhyped movie of 2019.....and Fucking Avengers:Endgame came out this year

Batman is a big enough franchise to where it can be a hard PG-13.....you don't have to make a Rated R superhero movie to be "different"

Not every Superhero movie can be a Deadpool or a Logan....otherwise you get bullshit like a rated R Batman V Superman :lol:
 
I saw it at midnight too. I won't spoil anything but this shyt is legit disturbing. The movie itself is good, very creative may be oscar worthy. But the way they wrote this Joker character...if there were a real Joker in our world, I think he'd be more like this one.

Haven't seen it but by the preview you could tell this would be appealing to future mass shooters... It seems like a realistic loser flick that will give them motivation to go ape shit... I bet that's why it's a real police presence around this movie

The first and second act of the movie was pretty boring, a little too artsy, third act was entertaining and there were a couple of cool things and I won't spoil.

But, the boring first and second act make the rewatch value of this movie nil
